HP 6 & Surf N' Swim

Well kids. The wait is finally over. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has finally hit theatres world wide. Ah. The Bliss. Due to the fact that we are with child now, we had to miss the excitement and thrill of the midnight showing, but went again for the reserved seats at the 8:45 showing on July 15th to the best movie ever! Now I have heard many different views, and yes, I too wished that there were more Harry and Ginny scenes, but overall, this was my favorite movie yet! They rushed, and took out, too many scenes as always, and this time added in some random scene, but it was still my favorite! Hermione is getting cuter, Ginny is almost taller than Harry!, and Ron. OH Ron. He is just dashing. =) I think one of my favorite parts is of him on the love potion. I can't wait for movie #7. Ahhh!!


Today I got to go swimming up at Layton Surf n' Swim! Lucy was able to swim with both Grandma Carrie, and Grandma Bonnie, and Aunt Amy, and cousin Blake, and Aunt Jessi! The Crosland's friends Arley, and her two cute kids came too! I didn't get any pictures of all the kids, but here is one of me and cute Lucy just enjoyin the rays! (Dont' you love my new cute swimsuit! They have the cutest swimsuits up at 'The Hidden Closet' at the Rockloft in fruit heights! So what if my little sister's friend who is 13 has the same one... apparantly I look like i'm 13 anyway, so im lovin it!)
I love Summer. Ahhh.. Now that I have a baby, I am starting to wish more and more that I lived somewhere where it was warm all year! What am I going to do this winter with my crazy little girl who loves being outside? Help!

    I'm totally with you in thinking this was the best Potter film yet!! Not gonna lie I even shed a few tears at the end the first time I saw it. Can't wait for #7!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
