Summer fun!

We have been having the greatest summer. Im sorry all you working women. I love not working and just being a mom! It is all I have ever wanted to do, and it is awesome. Be jealous. Lucy is so dang cute. Here is what we have been up to....

Swimming at Auntie Co-Co's pool! We went with my sisters, and of course Coleen, and she took all of the pictures, we need to get more of her! We always have so much fun swimmin! Lucy is loving the water, and just learned how to splash! So fun! The only downer- I got stung 4 times on my foot by bees! Ah! If it didnt' itch so bad it wouldn't be so bad. I decided that would be the worst way to die- itching to death.






Also on July 23rd we went to the Kenny Chesney concert with Amy & Luke! So fun! Amy and I both forgot our cameras so we had to make due with Tyler's cell phone. It was so HOT and we were so so glad when the sun finally went down. Kenny was awesome though! Loved it!




Lucy is a professional sitter now! She is seriously getting so big! She is 5 months today! Oh my goodness its gone by fast. She can pretty much sit by her self, but we have to watch her closely because she will all of the sudden tip over sometimes!
As for our July 24th festivities, Lucy and I went with my mom and my sisters to the 'Nelson' Family reunion- aka my great grandma's family. Didn't really know anyone except my cousins, but ya know. Always in for a free lunch! Then Tyler took me shopping!! I have the best husband ever!! He bought me a cute shirt and some adorable jeans. Ah. Thank you my Love. I tried to get the shirt in this picture. didn't really work.

This last week we went to Cherry Hill too! Cheryl won free tickets on K-Bull 93 so my mom and my sisters went! It was so awesome. Me, Cher, and Can played like we were 10 years old again. I will for surely be getting a pass next year! Anyone in?




Overall. Summer Rocks. Ben, Carrie, Cody, and Macey just got in town last night so we had an awesome girls dinner with the 4 grandkids tonight at Chili's while the men went to the rodeo! It's so good to just hang out with family! Life is good. =)

    uh... i hope my body looks that good 5 months after I have a kid!!! HOLY COW CAR CAR!!! You're so lucky! It looks like your summer has been a blast! You are lucky you didn't have to work all summer!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
