the kiddos trip.
we had such an awesome time in st george this last week!
we had a girls/kids trip and were lucky enough to stay in amy's inlaw's condo down there.
the weather was so awesome, and i would go back in a heartbeat to be in 65 degrees again!
lucy had so so much fun with her cousins, and it's so cute how she idolizes them all!
she is really quite a bit less fiesty around other kids too... funny. she is way more of a hellian at home, and quite the follower/pleaser/peacemaker/happy girl with other kids!
it works for me though, because she was so so good the whole trip and had so much fun!
this was our attempt at getting them all in the same picture... haha
blake- 2 1/2, macey- 27 months, lucy- 24 months, Cody- 4
i love how lucy runs... head down and waving her arms like a maniac. she just sits and says, "ready, set, GO!" all the time and races herself everywhere!
we drove down tuesday, and tuesday night we went to pirate island for some pizza and let the kids play, they thought it was so cool to do the arcade games! and lucy probably went down the slide 30 times.
the next day we went on a walk to the park, then laid out on the patio while the kiddos slept.
that night we did a little bit of shopping, and went to Orange Peel for some awesome smoothies and Don Pedros for some mexican.
Thursday I went and bought a swimsuit- I left mine at home- Lame huh? but I needed one anyway!
We just hung out and laid out a little more while the kids slept and hit up the hot tub that afternoon.
the kids had so much fun just riding their bikes all over that neighborhood the whole week too!
i can't believe how old lucy is starting to look! ah!
the weather was so good so we left a little later friday then we thought... the kids got to ride all over the tennis courts one more time, while we got in a little more sun!
somehow i managed to not get my picture taken all week.. yess... haha
but i'm now 31 wks prego, carrie is like 15, and amy is 26 i think.
lucy was posing... she is so funny.
overall it was awesome and i can't wait to go back in a few weeks! thank you bonnie!
i had a cold almost the whole time down there and friday it just got worse as we were coming home.
we haven't really even been home since we got back either-
friday night was my good friend Kameron's wedding reception, Saturday we went up to Kaysville so Tyler could get out of the apartment he had been stuck in all week alone... haha. We got to see our families and had a fabulous dinner at Tepenyaki for cute Jessi's birthday this week!
Sunday I was still sick, but I missed church last week because Lucy was sick, so we had to go so we could teach primary! We teach the 7 year olds... we have 4 boys... it's quite the adventure. =)
and Sunday night we had the 'Birthday' dinner at my mom's house for my Dad, Mom, and Shawn!
March is definitely the birthday month...
I cannot believe it's already march... I am so ready for warm weather but, can't believe we go to nationals in 2 1/2 weeks, then it's like the baby's here! Ah!
that is a scary thought... a really scary thought.
technically i am ready if she came tomorrow- but i'm really not ready at all. so hopefully she stays a cookin until the first week of May!
If it's okay I'm stealing all your pictures! I'm so impressed you get so many of everyone...I'm doing good if I get 2 of my kids, which I didn't:) It was so good to see you guys!
