cabin fever

we spent the weekend up at tyler's aunt cheryl and uncle stan's fabulous cabin

their cabin is in the la sal mountains up above moab--

this is my 2nd time going, and we just LOVE it up there!

This isn't a 'second home in the mountains' type cabin, it's a real cabin.

So this was Lucy's first experience camping really-- she Loved it.

Besides throwing some truly amazing tantrums when it was time for bed, and then some....

she was in heaven playing all day, and we were in heaven eating the best food EVER cooked on a wood burning stove, and had a great time. Thanks for letting us come!

it's a good thing she's cute. this was her after one of our family 4-wheeling adventures got cut short but an awesome thunder storm! We were all soaking wet!

i love lucy. don't worry clara is there too- just being an angel baby sleepin' in her little lamby.

fishing at 'blue lake'-- Lucy hasn't stopped talking about Blue lake. It's officially the coolest place EVER.

Lucy absolutely adores her aunt Amy-- seriously. She is her total favorite! 

it is truly absolutely beautiful up there. here's to hoping we get to go next year too!

i cannot believe summer is almost over... it's so depressing!

in crosland life updates-

carly- i am trying to cram as much fun as we can this last week of summer, while totally neglecting my house and duties as 'housewife'. what else is new? i'm totally failing at that lately- at least tyler knows i love him right? i'm wishing i didn't have to choreograph 2 cheer routines in the next week too. Ugh. and hoping i survive saturday's race! also enjoying my new calling as primary secretary-- we love love our ward here.

tyler is honestly hating his job-- and now that he is graduated is starting the hunt for a new one-- yay for him! he is best daddy ever and takes care of his 3 girls.

we're pretty sure Lucy broke her arm today at the park.. yep. Taking her to the Dr. in the morning--- I'll let ya know how that goes. She is seriously so busy, and I stand by my plan to have no more children until she is in school. I love her so much I can't stand it! She is honestly just like me, and it's so funny. I love that cute girl.

clara is cute, and chubby, and makes the funniest noises all day long. She loves to talk. And i love to listen. =) She still nurses and sleeps like a champ. such a good babe.

and we are excited to welcome our new niece, Mackayla into the fam!

yay! 3 more Crosland grandbaby-girls in 3 1/2 months!
