the end of summer.
so so sad summer is over. but i have to admit- i am kind of excited for somewhat of a routine again.
we seriously have eaten dinner at our house something like maybe 5 times all summer- no joke! and don't get me wrong, I love all the free food and no cooking, but i'm looking forward to some normalcy.
fall means football games! candace is now a super-fabulous-'ya'-yelling-d'ette, so we went to watch her perform at her first home game! (uhm, i just found out that high school football games are $6 freaking bucks a person to get in. i have never had to pay once to get into a game, so this is news to me. outrageous i tell you! outrageous!)
but look how cute little clara is! please excuse the sweat glistening on my face, it was approximately 1,000 degrees outside with 1 billion people squished together on the stands. awesome.
our friends porter and erika are in town again before they move, so we went boating last weekend. if i haven't mentioned it before, Lucy LOVES porter.
shawn and mel came, carter was not digging the heat.
once again, it was seriously a thousand degrees outside. HOT!
me and cute erika, and clara loving her life jacket.
i am now the ripe old age of 2-3.
my birthday is august 31st, and normally i have a birthday 'month', but unfortunately i am growing up. dangit. i had my traditional white cake with pink frosting on family dinner sunday! yay!
for my b-day, i took lucy to the dr to get her x-rayed again and she got her splint off, yay!
had lunch at 'the bun' with my mom and co-co, and the 'girls'.
my mom and i ran down to anthropologie to use my birthday coupon. yess....
and tyler and i went to stoneground in slc and saw the movie, 'crazy, stupid, love'.
so so inappropriate, but so so funny. little lucy will most definitely not be watching pg-13 movies when she is big. but we laughed so hard. i am a walking contradiction i know.
friday we woke up bright and early and headed down to the madness of swiss days. I love love swiss days and wish I could stay all day long! someday!
thursday me and meg went to lunch and clara and knox had some lovin' time. they are so dang cute. we also had a bridal shower for cute abby that night. so good to see good friends again!
since lucy finally got her splint off, amy and i took our girls to cherry hill on labor day one more time! (i'm hoping we can go again this weekend too!)
love cute callie!
amy could totally do twins....
love cute lu.
and in big news.... Lucy no longer has her binky!
it was getting to be ridiculous, so i told her that if she was a big girl she needed to give all of her binkys to baby clara-- she has had a couple of rough nights and naps, but it's gone! Yay!
now to potty training. ugh!

Enjoy your youth:) How do you have the Best babies in the entire world? That is awesome. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I'm sorry we're so flaky that we didn't even call that day, but we love you!
