little updates.

 cute clara and callie- aka, twins, playing at amy's house today

so. in case you didn't know, i am running the st. george marathon next saturday.
holy freakin cow.
that is in like a week.
i keep having this vision of me being one of those people who has a heart attack and dies while running the marathon. it would make for a great news story-
23 year old girl dies while running first marathon.
i hurt my i.t. band after running the half at the end of august, so i took it really easy the first few weeks of september and this last saturday ran my farthest of 17.5 miles.... yes, that is far.
BUT, a marathon is 8.7 miles longer than that! Freak!
Here's to hoping I don't die...


other than that.... Lucy started a little playgroup with her two cute friends izzy and macie--- we are just rotating at our houses once a week for 2 hours! We had it for the first time this last week at our house, and the girls had a blast!

Oh, and my mom and I went to the fabric store to buy fabric to cover my fugly couch pillows, but instead I bought this darling fabric to make a quilt for little clara!
i cut up all the squares and such yesterday at my mom's, so here's to hoping it turns out as cute as i'm hoping! the lighting is awful, but it really is the cutest fabric!

    I love that fabric!! Making quilts is my newest obsession, I just wish fabric wasn't so dang expensive! You have to post pictures when it's done, it looks like it's going to be the cutest little quilt.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
