5 months. I think I'll eat her for dinner she's so cute!



no really- she's so cute i could totally eat her up! And all of her little rolls too!
My little claire-bear, clara mae, c-diggity-dogg, or the latest.... 'lil-C' will be 5 months on the 28th!
and she is just so cute I can't even stand it.

confession:
I love babies.
really though-- I have always always loved babies, and i remember why now!
they are so cute and so funny, and squishy and they play with their toes among all their fat rolls, well- at least my babes do! Clara is the sweetest little thing. She laughs and talks ALL the time.  She is so great at going to sleep, she usually spits her binky out and ends up just 'singing' to herself until she falls asleep. She has the brightest blue eyes and loves attention. She started eating oatmeal this past week, and Lucy got very involved in helping her. Clara was starving, so she ate it right up. Still trying to figure out the whole spoon thing though.... she mainly just drools it all out.
anywho. I love my little Clara Mae- my little Crosland baby.
It's official- I think we'll keep her. =)

who needs showers? not me obviously.


lucy has been so cute with clara lately.
i was just telling my mom and like 3 other people this past week that lucy was a total tomboy and never ever played with dolls and really just liked her horses, when all the sudden this week she is obsessed with her two dolls! my favorite is when she pulls her chair over to clara's crib as to put the two dolls in the crib and tuck them in with their baby blankets. They are currently in bed with her as we speak.
who knew?


i swear my daughter is a girl.. not a boy. despite what the bald head and plaid shorts may tell you... 


and just because she's cute- here's little lu.

P.S. Loving the 80 degree september weather! Yay! We went to the splash pad today and lucy was in heaven! Loving it. 
P.P.S ran 10 miles today and nearly died. ok not really, but i swear it was way harder than the 17.5 i did last saturday. seriously- 26.2? what the hell was i thinking!?

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
