Halloween Party Fun!

Finally a Halloween update! I'm exhausted just thinking about it! Haha.. We had an amazing Halloween. Tuesday during preschool Lucy had her Halloween party! She had so much fun being princess Belle, and loved the party at school!
I know most of the kids now... Jayden, Tristan, ?, Lauren, Reagan, Madelyn, Lucy, Skye, Loryn, and Aizalyn.
 Lucy and Skye are so funny together! Little trouble makers!
 Favorite game of the party- 'Witch, Witch, Ghost!' somehow Duck, Duck, Goose never seems to get old!
 I love her!
 We also did a mummy wrap, where the kids wrapped me up in toilet paper, awesome! And throw the eye-balls in the cauldron! Lucy got so many goodies and prizes just from preschool!

 Skye got to come home from preschool with us that day. The girls got dragged from preschool to Target, to lunch, then to Hobby Lobby, a quick trip home to change, and then to Ballet! They were pretty exhausted by the time Ballet was over, and the fun was just about to begin!

We had a bunch of friends over for a little Halloween lunch date on Halloween day!
 How cute are Lucy and Brian? They are the cutest to watch play together!
 I think we had around 12 or so Mom's with all of the little kids who weren't in school! We had some yummy food, and it's always fun to hang out! I think next year I'll do it about a week before Halloween, so things aren't so crazy!
 Some of the cute mama's- Amy, Aimee, Jessie, Jaymie, Angie, and below Tera and her cute son Honour-- who makes a very darling girl as well! Haha. Love Tera's creepy eyes!
and from who else I can remember from the top of my head, we also had- Julie, Tessa, Molly, Virginia, Melissa, and Cody! Overall we had 13 moms, and about 17 kiddos running around my 3 bedroom apartment... awesome! It was a full house, but we had fun! I think next year I'll try to be a little more organized too so the kids can actually play games. I had some games for them to do, but it totally got passed over by the craziness!
 I didn't get pictures until everyone had almost eaten, but it was cute and so good! I made my mom's sugar cookies, chili, cornbread, and mummy dogs, then everyone else brought another soup, cupcakes, caramel corn, queso, candy, witches hats and broomsticks, chocolate covered pretzels, etc... etc...

 and this is how Clara was pretty much the second people started walking in the door- awesome. She has had a little cold, so I put her straight to bed and she missed the whole party!
Sure love that little girl...

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
