Finally Summer!
I am so so behind, but here it goes...
Summer finally hit Minot in June! And by summer I mean like 70+ degrees, which really is perfect if you ask me! We had a TON of rain, but found a few good days to get out and play!
We had a fun zoo day where we watched the monkeys seriously scream and sing at each other- it's hilarious! I'm sure we'll be back a lot more since we got zoo passes!
Tyler was able to meet us at the zoo on his lunch- the girls had to run to give him one more hug like 3x before he left!
We met a bunch of friends at the park, and found out the splash pad was opened too! We didn't have our suits or towels, but Lucy didn't seem to care one bit! She loves the water!
We finished up our gymnastics session, and Clara was awesome! She seriously LOVED it! We'll have to start up again with her this winter!
Clara also loves doing Yoga with me... Lucy does too actually, it's pretty hilarious. I love these girls!
and Hallelujah! The Minot pool opened back up this year! It's been closed the last 2 years because of the flood- I can't tell you what a difference it's made having the pool and zoo open this year- it's pretty awesome! I wish we had things like this in the winter! Haha!
and Clara can officially swim on her own! She liked having a tube with her floaty, but you can't have any type of floaty device that isn't coast guard approved at our pool- so she learned quick! I love that she can keep up with Lucy now. It's so crazy! She is growing up so fast, she says everything, and Lucy is totally her idol! She does and says everything Lucy does! We love our little crazy Clara!
Swimming of course knocks them both right out! And I can't get over how funny these two are together....
I can't say enough how glad I am that they have each other! I don't know when we'll be ready for baby #3, but I am so glad I had these two so close! They are the best of friends, and I love seeing them together!
We've had a few frozen yogurt runs as well! My favorite thing ever... Oh, and Lucy got a tick stuck in her SKULL! Ah! I was doing her hair in to a bunch of tiny pony tails so it would stay in for a few days, and was parting her hair and found it sticking out of her head! Ahh! I hate bugs... I hate bugs So so so bad! It was so disgusting, and I was freaking out!! Everything was fine though and now I know that we just have to check for them every night! Eeekk! So gross!
Jaymie and I swapped kids so we could take our hubbys out for Fathers Day, and without planning it totally had dinner and dessert with Jenny & David-- great minds think alike!
We had our first loonng run too- I do love Minot in the summer!
and Lucy of course had so much fun playing with Ruby and Violet while we babysat Saturday night- I do love that family-- and that baby. Sigh... Eleanor has my heart!
We celebrated Fathers Day before we headed off to Utah! We had a yummy breakfast, a great church together, and a yummy roast dinner, followed by a fun park date! Tyler really is the greatest dad in the universe. Hands down. These girls are such daddy's girls too!
up next.... Utah!
