Week 1 of Utah Fun!

And we're back to Utah... Haha. I keep having people ask if I really live in Utah and then just visit North Dakota occasionally. Good one guys! I wish sometimes... but nope! We were in Utah the last week of March over Spring Break and headed back for 3 weeks in June/July! Quite a few of my friends here in Minot go back 'home' for the summer, or part of it, and it's just the perfect time to go back so we can feel like we're part of the family again! I didn't grow up being close to my grandparents at all, and my girls have two super-duper awesome sets of grandparents who live about 3 minutes apart, so it's SO SO nice to back to Kaysville to see them, and all of our cute cousins!

We made the drive all in one day again on Monday the 17th! I thought I had Clara's car sickness all figured out and had planned on giving her Dramamine at our first stop- like 4-5 hrs into the drive, but Nope! She made it 2. Luckily she had only had her bottle that morning so it wasn't a big throw up at all, but I learned my lesson that Clara cannot drive without Dramamine! Poor girl! Other than that minor hiccup this was for sure our best drive yet! The girls did amazing and we made it in about 15 hours! We left at like 7:30am, and made it to Kaysville by 9:30! Wahoo! I'm starting to feel like I could drive anywhere, I'm craving some cooler road trips in my future! (With some Dramamine on my side of course... for Clara! Haha)

We all slept in of course and had such a fun lazy day playing with Carter and Katelyn in grandma's backyard! We headed over to the Crosland's that afternoon to see Grandma Bonnie, and Amy & Blake and Callie! So fun to see all these kids reunited!
My days are all bluring together now, but I know I had Cafe Rio at somepoint... haha, and I think Tuesday we met up with Kyle for lunch at the Habit Burger! Any type of burger with grilled pineapple on it is the one for me! Yum!
I still can't believe how big Farmington is getting! Sheesh! Thursday morning I met up with cute Michelle to run together! We ran down from the temple to her house- I still wish we lived close so we could run together!
Since my niece Callie broke her leg, we picked Blake up and headed to Farmington Pool to meet up with Megan and cute Knox! My kids are SO happy anywhere there is water!
I also bought some of the ugliest running shoes known to mankind- I'm loving them so far though! Go Hokas!
Thursday night was my cute friend Brooke's baby shower- Can you believe how freaking tiny she is!? It was so good to see her and Katie, and all of our cute mom's of course!
Friday we headed to the Zoo with the Crosland clan! and Clara actually stayed asleep in her stroller for a while! Shocker!
You should see Callie run with that cast on! The girl has got skills!
After the zoo we met my mom at City Creek and I found a dress for Jessi's wedding- Yipee! We had to get some Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory goods of course! and a Temple pic.
Friday night I met up with some cute friends to play Bunko! It was soo so good to see these girls again-
Kylee, Jentrie, Whitney, Abby, Nicole, Allison, Megan, Angie, and I
Saturday was Jessi's Family shower! It was at Amy's and her and Cheryl did such a great job. We love Grandma Cheryl!
Tyler's cousins Staci and Dani and their girls
I still can't believe Jessi is getting married- and is it obvious I'm the in-law? Haha...
Saturday night we were able to go watch my niece Blake race in her BMX Race! Yep- She's 4! Haha. Only the Larsen's- she is awesome!!
Lucy wanted to get out there so bad! Too bad we don't even own a helmet... since she has ridden her bike outside maybe twice now? Haha. The joys of apartment living! Parents of the year- for sure! They even have a push bike division though, so maybe next time we're there she can try it out!
The girls were obsessed with the 'Circle moon!' and were so excited to go see it every night with grandma and grandpa!
So I wish you could have seen Lucy and Clara dancing ballet in the center aisle as the choir sang in my parents ward- it was probably the cutest/most hilarious thing I have ever seen and SO wish I had a video! But it really was probably pretty irreverent, so I'm glad my mom and dad were sitting by them and not me! Haha...
Clara is obsessed with Minnie Mouse and loves her Minnie outfit!
Also, if anyone ever asks- I'm all for 2 hours of church, and an additional 2 at home! My parents ward was cut an hour short for the big leadership conference and it was so nice to go home and relax, but you still got to hear some amazing talks- just like conference! I'm all for it every week! Haha..
We ended our Sunday with a big fabulous dinner at the Crosland's! We miss them already!
