September: Autumn, Pumpkins, Potty Training, and Friends!

We caught the Pumpkin patch in Minot early this year! We did last year too! That's the way to do it, the weather is still warm enough, plenty of pumpkins to go around, not crowded, and still all clean and beautiful! Jenny and I went one Saturday our husbands were both working. The kids had a blast!
isn't Noah the cutest? He helped Clara through the whole obstacle course like 3 times!
 Girls. Girls. Girls.
hopefully we'll make it back one more time before Halloween!
Clara came with me to the adult session of Stake Conference and luckily the pumpkin patch wiped her right out!

Lucy has been picking up Yoga... haha, and Clara finally got panties! Wahoo!
We hunkered down and stayed home for a whole day and a half to get the potty thing down and she's done awesome! I literally waited as long as I could. She was as ready as she possibly could have been. She totally could have been potty trained 6 months ago, but potty training is so not my thing so I was waiting as long as possible. And she was VERY motivated by stickers and candy! Oh Clara...
and of course one must bake when stuck inside... and pretty much all of fall. and winter.
We escaped to the zoo for a couple hours on the second afternoon, but she did awesome and no accidents!
By day 3 we called it a success! She still has an accident here and there, but doing awesome. She prefers to go by herself. Pull down her pants/panties, climb onto the toilet, hold her self up and wipe all alone. Then flush and wash her hands. Followed by a sticker of course. I think Lucy just started pulling her own pants down 6 months ago... Bahaha! Difference between the second and first I guess? Clara is SO independent! Holy. Cow.
Clara's underware pile... Hehe. Love her.
More Yoga was to be done, and then I had to stop a couple weeks before the marathon. My hip flexors are so sensitive and if they flare up at all kill my whole IT band. I'm looking forward to going back to class this week now that I'm home and the race is done! Hallelujah!
The girls and I had our usual bookstore date- this time at Barnes and Noble where mom got to read instead of the story-time lady, but hey- you do what you gotta do! and Clara is always wanting to hold Eleanor- love love love that baby.
and so sad, my good friend Cody is moving! We're so sad, but also so happy she is moving on to bigger and better things. I swear they're dropping like flys lately! No one else better move! We had a fun girls night, and Lucy got to have one last play date with her bestie Skye before they left!
we always end up at Jaymie's after and end up staying up wayyyyy to late.
 cute Skye & Lucy!
We had another fun girls night with dinner at the church and the Relief Society broadcast. All the babies got to join, and this cute little girl doesn't make me baby hungry at all... Lies.
We had some beautiful morning walks with the babes- Clara and Eleanor while the girls were at school, and fun afternoons at home with my girls.
I had one final seriously GORGEOUS fall run before we packed up for Utah for the marathon! Autumn is seriously my most favorite time of the year and I'm glad I crammed and made time for this last run on my favorite trail!
 Utah trip up next!
