Cheryl comes to town!
While we were in Utah Aunt Cheryl was able to fly in from Baltimore for the weekend! Yipee!
We picked her up from the airport Thursday morning and headed straight to Kneaders for breakfast- Duh!
Kyle had to come up late Wednesday night for the day on Thursday, so we spent the day hanging out at my mom's watching the kids go crazy.
and Lucy can now right her name- she has been able to for a while, but she's just now starting to willingly do it. Haha. I love her self portrait. Complete with shoulders and all!
I love little Clara waking up from her nap going to snuggle with Grandma- Katelyn saw and wanted to join too! Love those cute little girls!
and we celebrated Kyle's 21st Birthday that was on Monday!
We were going to watch Candace cheer that night at the Football game.... and she had out all of our old uniforms for their homecoming game a couple weeks before... so obviously we tried them back on. We text her a pic and told her we were wearing them to the game- that would have been awesome. Either way- crazy to think we cheered together like 8 years ago- I feel like we still look like we're 16? Haha!
We think we're so cool... Hahaha...
It was actually pouring rain at the game so we only lasted about 20 minutes, but the girls loved it! They both seriously love football!
and somehow Candace ended up doing yoga with me for a second... of all people. Dang hypocrite!
and Clara learned how to climb out of her crib... awesome! NOT! I'm actually pretty surprised she hasn't figured it out sooner- she is quite the little climber/monkey! But she does LOVE her crib! We'll see how much longer she lasts in hers at home!
We played at Station Park for a bit before the girls got to go play at Grandma Bonnie's while I went and saw 'Austenland' with my mom and sisters! Oh my- it's hilarious. You have to go! We had a yummy dinner at Settebello afterward!
and I LOVE these pictures of Lucy- the girl seriously lives in her OWN world. She is playing all the time, and she had a ball playing with all the mannequins in Loft. Classic.
After dinner we picked up all of the kids to head over to Black Island Farms!
These two LOVE the slides! The higher and faster the better!
all the sudden it got pretty cold and dark and we still had to get our pumpkins! The kids were a little ornery at the end, but we made it out alive!
Saturday morning we woke up and headed into Park City! I had been dying to go up there- just to see all of the gorgeous mountain colors and be outside in the mountains! It was so worth it!
We ended up doing the Alpine Coaster and had a blast!
The girls both LOVED it! Clara was yelling "Yee-haw!!" the whole way down, and I was going as fast as it would let me go! It was so much fun, we'll definitely have to do that again!
We had lunch at Cafe Rio where my dad met us after his class- he took Lucy home, so we got a couple hours of shopping at the outlets with only one kid! Wahoo!
Sunday I of course was running late so I walked into sacrament meeting with Clara after everyone else was already there. Candace then told me I looked like a pirate, and Cheryl said I looked cute.... if I were a biker chick. I wish they told me what they were really thinking every once in a while.... Haha. Gotta love sisters.
and as if the cheer uniforms weren't enough, we then had to try on all of Candace's dance dresses while she was still at church....
Cheryl's trip went by wayyy to fast! At least we'll get to see her again at Christmas too!!
