Utah: Baby Logan, Guns, Cheerleading, and more!

Yay yay! The reason I decided to stay in Utah an extra week was because I was REALLLYYY hoping this little guy was born while I was there! Luckily little Logan was born October 11th, and I got almost a full week to see his cute little face! Amy is super woman! It's crazy that Blake and Lucy are the same age, as are Clara and Callie... and here she is with another one! I feel so not ready for another baby! Haha. Someday- but he is the cutest little guy, and Christmas seems wayyyy to far away!
I didn't get to meet him until Sunday, but was able to literally sit and hold him for like 3 hours on Sunday. Ah, he's the cutest Maybe someday I'll have a boy!?
Ah, man he's cute!

In other news, while I was in Utah Tyler flew down to Vegas to spend the weekend with his dad at Frontsight to do a tactical hand-gun training course! They spent 4 days down there, and Ty had the time of his life, and already is wanting to plan another trip! I'm so glad he got to go! It definitely helped break up our long trip, and he has been dying to go for forever!

As of us, we had an awesome last week in Utah- I met up with these cute girls Monday afternoon for lunch and letting the kids play--
We spent the afternoon playing at Grandma Bonnie's and TOTALLY wore the kids out- I think after over a week and half being away from home the were SPENT. But we ended the night at Chick fil'A anyway!
Tuesday morning I got up and ran for the first time after the race... and I reallllllyyy like utah in the fall. that's all.
Lucy was literally worn out. She played herself sick and ended up sleeping from about 10am-past 3pm on Tuesday! She has actually done this the last couple times we've visited, I really think she just plays and plays and plays until she seriously crashes! She woke up feeling MUCH better, but even after she woke up she wanted to stay home with Grandpa while my mom and I left to run some errands!
I ended up meeting cute Michelle and Emily that night for dinner and a little late night Target run- I seriously love these girls.
Tuesday morning I met up with cute Jessi and Bonnie to go to the Temple and lunch. Ahhh... it was so nice to ditch the girlies and spend time with two of my favorite women!
We ended up at the Davis game Wednesday night to watch Candace cheer... Lucy found one of my old uniforms out and wanted to wear it and bring my old poms- she was looking awesome! Haha!
Lucy was SO excited watching the girls, and then Candace's coach came over and asked Lucy if she wanted to go cheer with the girls! She of course said yes and ran right down there! She got a little nervous at first, but by the middle of the 1st quarter she was out there with them!
Candace's top girl was actually out of town, so every time they stunted, they put Lucy up! She was seriously on CLOUD nine! Holy cow! The girl was born for the spotlight!
She had SO much fun, and seriously cheered the entire game! I cannot believe she lasted that long, but she was out there for about 2 1/2 hours! Haha! So proud of this little cutie!
Thursday we spent some more time with this cute guy!

and said our goodbye's to the Crosland gang. I went for one more Utah run, finished up packing and had one last 'Herbert' story from Grandpa around the fire and got ready to head out!
We woke up bright and early to head to the airport and I don't think I've ever been so tired in my life! Haha. The girls are great on the plane, but we had another 3 hr layover in Denver. We had a long and delicious breakfast, following which Lucy RAN into a pole. If i had a nickel for every time this has happened... Haha... But seriously. Her Lip was HUGE and we even iced it quite a bit!
Needless to say we were all exhausted by the end of that layover and all crashed on the last leg home!
We made it home alive and well and SOOO excited to see daddy! It was definitely an exhausting trip home, but only because I was so worn out from the trip! Can't wait to go back for Christmas! ;-)
