and then we moved. (& happy 7 years to us!)
after preschool graduation Jaymie and I headed to Fargo for her birthday! Mark surprised her with a little getaway and I was lucky enough to join! Jaymie is one of my best friends, and we had such a good time! It was SO nice to get away, even if it was for less than 36 hours! But after being alone with the kids for about a month and packing, I was SO ready for a break! We had a pretty fabulous dinner Friday night at the HoDo in downtown Fargo. It was delicious!
Saturday we went out to breakfast, shopped all afternoon, went to lunch, went to Costco, then drove home through Bismarck so we could go to our favorite pizza place there and made it home late Saturday night! It was essentially a very food oriented trip, but so much fun!
On Memorial day the Noel's had us over for a little BBQ and we played my new favorite game, Bean Boozled. Ah! I cannot get over how gross some of those Jelly beans are! We played with the Amsbury's, and McRae's as well.
That looks delicious Jaymie!
Tera, Jaymie, me, and Kami. Love these gorgeous women!
We had SO much help this week so I could pack! Jaymie had my girls for a few hours Monday, Wednesday, and really all day Friday and Saturday! And cute Melissa had them Tuesday and Thursday. It was SO nice to know they were playing and having fun, and I could pack in peace!
We had the weirdest weather, so stormy, then 90 degrees and super windy! We had a fun park date and were able to see our cute friends Tammy, and Gwen before we left Saturday!
Tyler made it home late Thursday night, and Jaymie helped me pack my whole kitchen Thursday night. Best friend ever!
Friday was our 7 year anniversary and we spent it packing! We were able to sneak out for a quick dinner, and really got everything all ready to go!
Tyler was so smart and personally asked a bunch of our friends to come help us move on Saturday, we had a ton of people there-- Brock, Brock, Mark, David, Noah, Oliver, Levi, Taylor, Matt, Xaien, Brandon, Bro Ogilve, etc... etc... I know I'm missing a bunch but it was so nice to have so much help! They got everything moved to our storage unit, and Tyler and I got some cleaning done. We made it to lunch with the Noel family at Panera and then the girls and I were on the road! I'm still so sad we are gone! I know we will be back, but I miss our home there! Tyler was so awesome and literally spent all day Saturday and Sunday cleaning our apartment and finishing up, while I was on the road! The girls and I made it to Billings Saturday night exhausted! I was so glad we were able to split up our drive though!
and just like that we were gone! Moving is the absolute worst, most exhausting thing ever, but having good friends makes it so so much better! Don't you worry Minot, we'll be back!
