i like big tetons

We had SO much fun visiting Celeste and her kids in Victor! We got in late Sunday night, and the kids woke up Monday morning so excited to play with Anson and Norah! We grabbed some lunch on the way out of town and headed into Teton National Park! We ate our lunch at Jenny Lake and the kids had a blast. Lucy wanted to swim immediately, so she had the time of her life swimming in her underwear in the freezing cold beautiful water! The water is SO clear, and it really is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my entire life. It was pretty amazing!
We had a couple visitors for lunch that were not scared of us in the slightest.
I love her.

the water is so clear it's amazing!
The pictures speak for themselves. It's just beautiful.
after we swam we went on a little hike. I promised Lucy that the next time we come back she can hike to the very top of this rock! Here's to hoping that happens!
they really are just the ugliest mountains ever..... ah! I was dying the whole time we were there.
When the kids started melting down we headed into Jackson Hole to check out the shops and get some dinner!
We had a blast in the cutest toy store, but as soon as we got to the candy store all hell broke loose! Haha. Clara was exhausted and had the melt down of the century while I was checking out at the store. I ended up leaving all of my stuff and taking her outside, then hurried back in to buy the goods. Somehow in my rush I ended up with 100 lbs of salt water taffy for my mom, among a million other little things and spent $25 on candy. Dangit Clara! Haha. OH well. We bailed on the shops and headed to get some food! We had some really good food at the Brewery there- I can't even remember the name, but it was delightful! We had some pretty exhausted kids, so we managed to get the kids home and Celeste and I stayed up late to watch a movie. So nice to have some fun friend time! Minus all those crazy kids! Haha. We 'slept in' the next morning and had breakfast at the best bakery ever in Driggs. The kids had fun playing in their amazing backyard in the fort Taylor built for Anson.
We ate lunch that day in Driggs at Teton Thai and it was amazing! I'm still dreaming about those amazing noodles.
I sure love all of those cute kids! We headed back to Kaysville- a short 4 hour drive. Haha! It really did seem short. Our trip was amazing though. We're already planning our next trip back- just hoping one day we can get our husbands there as well! Celeste and Taylor have become some of our best friends in Minot, so it was so fun to see their beautiful home.
We made it to Kaysville just in time to pack up for Lake Powell! Coming up next!
