 i'm so so behind, so we'll make this snappy.
we said our goodbyes to jenny, juju, and georgia for the summer in mid may! they were leaving on their trip, and we would leave before they got back. Boo. We miss our besties!
 Our ward in Minot has sisters who we have fed about once a month for the last year or so. And I finally took a picture! It's so fun having sisters, and they are the best examples for my two girls!

 and I finally got Lucy a big girl bike. It was $4 at the thrift store, then I spent $40 on helmets. Such is life right? Hahaha.... Lucy did great, but we didn't have room for the bike in the car. We'll have to keep our eyes open here in Utah!

 Sweet Violet was baptized! It was such a sweet, special baptism. I have gotten to coach Violet this past year in gymnastics, as well as see her all the time at her house, and I just love her. The girls were so excited to be there! Congrats cute Violet!
Lucy gave a talk a few weeks ago, and her cute dad helped her with the whole thing. The girls loved practicing all morning long. Another perk of 3 o'clock church. It really helps my procrastination! Eek!

 We celebrated cute Jaymie's birthday a couple weeks ago! Of course we're at Panera--- me, Jaymie, and Kami
 and the weather finally warmed up! It's pretty amazing seeing everything go from ice, to horribly ugly brown and dirty, to overwhelmingly beautiful and green!
 and my cute big sister graduated from college. again. Bahaha, I keep teasing her saying that.
But really, she graduated from the top education school in the nation- Johns Hopkins with a 4.0. She got her Masters of Education, Reading Specialist. And really she's just amazing. She has been working full time, teaching 5th grade at a Title 1 school in Baltimore all while going to school. She's the smart one in the family, to say the LEAST! Go Harry!

Girls, girls, girls. 
 the girls always want to go to the cemetery and since it was the week before memorial day, and the weather was too amazing to go inside (and pack... haha!) But we had a great time. I love these cute girls!
 Every Thursday night Lucy has gymnastics with her little pre-team group, and since the gym is empty Clara gets to have a little 'private lesson' with mom! Haha. It seemed a little ridiculous to go back to the gym another night so she could have her class, so the last couple months have just been with me. But she absolutely loves it, and is FEARLESS. She loves walking across the high beams, being a monkey on the bars, and is always trying to get upside down. Lucy is doing awesome too! I'm sad she's done for the summer. She loves gymnastics, and has improved so much. The other day she said, "Mom! You know I can do my cartwheel now with straight arms and straight legs and it's perfect!" Sure enough, she did! I love that little girl.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Rex is a year and a half of craziness. He is so sweet, all over the place, and such a cute kid. He has his mama wrapped around his little chubby sticky finger! Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
