Halloween 2014

We had a pretty fun Halloween this year! Lucy and Clara both wanted to be Elsa, and Grandma Bonnie scored and found us one finally in Lucy's size at Disneyland! I got Clara's at JC Penney, and I had two pretty happy cute girls.

First up- the ward Trunk or Treat! Tyler and I were in charge.... and I'm so glad we are done with those two ward parties! Ah! Stressful.
We had a chili and corn bread cook off, a cake walk for the kids, and of course the trunk or treat. Simple, but the kids had a blast!
Clara dressed up as Anna for the evening.
 We had the Joy School Halloween Lesson/Program at our house on the 30th. I love, love these cute kids. They had a blast decorating their sugar cookies!
 And did so great in their program! Clara was a witch this day... Haha. She's still been walking around singing, "I'm a mean old witch with a hat...."
Halloween day we went trick or treating downtown with Ruby, Eleanor, and Anson. It was SO cold, but fun. I love these cute little Elsa's!
 We had some delicious cookies then headed over to Lucy's school to do her Kindergarten class party! She was so cute and let Clara help her with everything!

 After school we gathered up our sugar cookies and headed to Jenny's house- you know, who had a baby 3 days earlier... Whaaatttt... to meet up with everyone for trick or treating!
Clara found these fangs and kept them in ALL night!
 It was maybe the coldest Halloween I've ever had, so trick or treating was short and sweet, but still so fun! Plus they got SO much candy from our ward party that they didn't seem to notice or care!
Out running around with the Jacob's, Noel's, Amsbury's, Barlow's, McRae's, and the Stockwells. So fun!
 
 Are Jaymie and I as cute as Ruby and Lucy? Haha!

 and cute Jenny who came home from the hospital the day after having a C-section. and Looks amazing. And the sweetest baby carrot you ever did see!
 
and Tyler getting attacked by one too many little girls. We only have about 50 between us!
 
 after warming up at Jenny's we headed down to Jaymie's for pizza and a fun night out. Three cheers for Halloween! And for having the greatest friends to enjoy it with!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
