Utah in October

Our trips always go by SO fast, but this one especially! It was a pretty big whirlwind! Thursday, the 9th, we headed down to Gardner Village with my mom, Melissa, and Carter & Katelyn. The kids had a blast seeing the witches and getting treats! It was a quick visit, but still fun! And the weather was pretty amazing!
Afterwards we headed down to Spanish Fork to meet up with my mom's dad and sisters to decorate my grandma's grave. We then headed back to Orem.... for the 3rd time that week.... haha... to my grandpa's house for dinner and fun with cousins!

Lucy and Nash are a year apart, but have SO much fun together! I wish we all lived a little closer. These two are hilarious!

Friday we were able to go to Pack's Pumpkin patch with all of our Utah cousins on both sides! More amazing weather, and the girls had SO much fun.
I really am SO glad our families live so close and get along so well! I feel pretty lucky to be able to put together activities where all of our cousins can play together when we don't have a lot of time in Utah!

we then headed over to the farm to ride Rio! These girls are pretty dang spoiled!

We had such a fun crazy trip! I got my hair done the next day, then we headed out back to ND! My mom was able to drive back with us this time! Yay! We spent the night in Billings, and made it back to Minot safe and sound Sunday evening.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
