Merry Christmas 2014



Christmas is always so magical! We woke up to like 6 inches of fresh new snow! It was the best Christmas surprise! We woke up and spent Christmas morning with Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jeff! It was nice to just be us and have Grandma and Grandpa there!
 Their big gift this year was of course their doll house, and Christmas morning they got a few other gifts from Santa. Including all the princess barbies! Clara also got the cutest little wooden camera and took pictures of us all morning long.
Indy absolutely loves Lucy and always just comes and sits on her lap.
We had Grandma Bonnie's famous scones for breakfast. Yummmmm. Best ever!

and then we headed over to Grandma Carrie's for the rest of the day! It was so fun to open presents with the whole family there! It seriously only happens once a year!

and Grandma Carrie got Lucy her piggy bank you can paint! She was seriously over the moon! I love this little rugrat!

The best was Clara getting her favorite Christmas present! All she wanted for Christmas was a real life unicorn with flying wings.... and Grandma pulled through! She's the cutest!
Clara crashed again. I sure love this cutie  in her unicorn shirt, star blanky, and new hair clip.
We had a fabulous dinner that night with the whole fam and Aunt Cindy.

We ended the night with popcorn, games, and braids.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
