Clara turns 4!

 I can't even believe my cutie Clara is 4! We had a little party for her the Friday before her birthday. There was no school that day, so all of her friends and their siblings got to come play and swim with us! She wanted a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party, and I'm so glad I had her cake made as this was in the midst of the lice horror. Haha! She was so excited for her party, and had so much fun playing and swimming!
 
 I forgot to get a group pictures of the kids, but Clara's little friends there were Georgia, Ethan, Luke, Ruby, Anson, Brylie, and a whole lotta siblings! Haha!
 They had so much fun, and went crazy swimming! So glad Clara has made such cute little friends!

Her actual birthday was so fun! I was still keeping Lucy home from school, so they had a fun play day and beautiful weather! 
 She got a cute new Frozen watch and microphone from Grandma Bonnie, a couple new outfits, and a big new Pluto from us! I just love her.
We met Tyler at Panera for lunch, and then played at the park all afternoon!
 We had Ballet that afternoon and they got to sing to Clara! I love how Lucy always has to step up to the plate and take care of her- even if Clara doesn't need it. They're pretty cute!
 And by the way home we were out cold! It was kind of an exhausting night! I was still feeling pretty sick, and i was still having to treat and check their hair every single night! Ah! We stayed home that night, but I think she still had a pretty fabulous day! We love you Clara Mae!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
