Lake Powell 2015

Lake Powell 2015! 
We had such a fabulous time, and it really is our favorite trip of the year! 
I apologize for the photo dump, but I am so behind on all of our summer fun that I'll let the pictures do the talking!
Lizard hunting with the 'slaves'. Haha! Ken and Taylor came up for a few days to help unload/work. They are the cutest guys and the kids had so much fun with them for the 2 days they were there!
Ty was determined to try some paddle board yoga with me, even though my balance is truly terrible pregnant, we did at least manage some headstands! I'm pretty impressed with Tyler's skills! And I love my preggo belly hanging out. I was 16 wks here.
 Lucy loved hiking and exploring and looking for lizards! We went on a couple mom/daughter adventures on the paddle boards and some cool hikes just us two! She loves to be on the move!
 The loved being old enough to take the kayaks out on their own! We were in nice little cove, so it was safe for the kids to be out which was so nice! 
 Everytime I pulled out my camera Logan would find me and say "CHEEEESSSEEEE!!!!"

 This year Jessi & Stefan had to stay home with their little newborn Oakley, and we missed them terribly! I think they would have been miserable though with how hot it was! It was definitely the hottest it's been in the last 8 years! Which made the water amazing, and the being pregnant part not the most amazing! Haha. But we still had such a fabulous time. 
Kim and Linda Vorhees came with us, as well as Sandy and Lisa Sekulich! I think Lisa had at least one if not all of the kids with her at all times. They absolutely adored her!
Love these cute 6 year olds! Clara was hot on their heels the whole week long! Haha!
 I walked in on cute Callie and Mackayla one afternoon giggling and coloring all over each others faces. It was hilarious! Luke had to add to it by doing some sweet Zinc designs!
 The theme this year was Pirates! Carrie went way over the top and we all got these cute bandanas, eye patches, mustaches, and t shirts to wear! We also had lots of fun Pirate treasure hunt games, finding the fairy house every morning, an auction with our gold coins, and our very own pirate names!
 We had our annual cousins talent show! Blake, Lucy, and Callie all sang songs from their school programs. Clara sang/signed "My Savior Loves Me" with a little help from Lu, Cody sang the song he sang in his school play, Macey sang a song from the Broadway singing group she's in, and cute Kayla showed some of her art work! Love these cute talented kids. Lucy also had to dance to her favorite song, 'Sugar'. Haha!
 The kids then jammed out to "Sweet Caroline".... Thanks Uncle Luke!
 And new jammies from Grandma and Papa! Love these cute kids!

Movie night on the projector! 
Lots of free time swimming, playing on the tubes, and 'relaxing'! These kids were all in heaven all week, and all got along so well!
 Tyler tried to throw his belly in there too- he's a little depressed he doesn't fit into his size 28 jeans anymore! Hahahaha... And me 16 weeks!
The three 4 year olds in their cute matching rash guards Grandma got them in Hawaii! They're 3.5 months apart is all! 
 And the three 6 year olds!
 Oh how we love Lake Powell! More pics to come!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
