From BOY to MAN

Before..........................and.....AFTER.

Tyler cut his hair today. I told him last weekend that maybe he should cut his hair, and for some reason he decided to listen to me. I make random comments about everything all the time, but for some reason he thought I was really serious and made a hair appointment and everything. He was worried he was going to look, 'AWFUL', but I honestly can say... I think this is the end of his long hair! I mean, I liked it, but just look at how handsome he is? He also looks a lot older. It was definately a good change.. Love you Ty!
Lucy is doing wonderfuly. We're trying to get into a bedtime 'routine'. Can you even have one of those with a baby? I swear you can't- Oh well. We're giving it a shot.
American Idol. LOVE Matt!... and love Kris. and still, love Megan Joy too. But Matt and Kris.. they are so charming. and SO handsome. Last night was great. Im glad that Michael got voted off... This is my prediction: Next week off-- Scott (he needs to wear some glasses and pull off the stevie wonder thing..), after him off, Anoop, ah then it gets close, after him... im going to say Megan, Lil Rounds, and Kris in any particular order. Then for the top 4... Adam, Matt, Allison, and Danny. Top 2-- I predict matt and adam. and... Im voting for matt!!
I also went to the dentist this week. My dentist is the nicest guy EVER. Going to their office is like a huge self esteem booster-- everyone just tells you how beautiful your smile is, and how great your teeth look, etc... it's funny. He is awesome, and I drive from Orem up to Layton to go to him.. I recommend him to anyone! Dr. Zeh. ((sidenote: I HATE doctors, dentist offices, etc... but he makes the experience ALMOST enjoyable.))

    Love Tylers hair! It looks great! I agree with you about American Idol mostly, but I want Danny to win!! No, not because his wife passed away (everyone is saying he's getting sympathy votes), it's because I like his voice a lot, he is so FUN to watch and is a good entertainer and a nice guy! And the bedtime thing...We are trying that as well. But I swear no matter what time they go to bed, they will be up to eat! I read in this flyer that my Dr. gave me that usually they won't sleep TOO long until they are about 11 pounds, until around there they get up to eat. I agree with you on your previous post that said it's just easier to stay up til the last feeding (11) and then go to bed for good! Anyways, sorry about the novel! It's fun having babies the same age! I am glad Lucy is doing great! probably because she has a great mommy!

    Hey Carly and Tyler! I love baby lucy, she is so dang cute! where did you get all her bows? Tyler's hair looks good short, more like a dad!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
