Happy Birthday to...

JESSI!! Jessi- my gorgeous sister in law turned 15 march 8th! She is in 9th grade, and now can offically drive! (with a parent in the car of course...) I can't believe she'll be dating next year- she'll be a heart breaker for sure. I mean- check out those legs! She is absolutely beautiful, is the cutest aunt ever, and I love her to death! Happy Birthday Jess!

MY MOM!! Cute Carrie Brock turned 47 today! (March 9th!!) She is by far the youngest looking grandma ever! ;-) She is already spoiling my daughter to death. Today I was able to go up to Kaysville and just hang out with my mom all day for her b-day! I think having Lucy awake and just holding her was her best birthday present...haha. I love my mommy- she is the greatest!


MY DADDY! Kerry Brock turned 48 on March 1st!! My dad is the cutest grandpa! I think he will have Lucy skiing and going backpacking with him by the time she is 2!! My dad is the most amazing man and hardest worker I know. I love my daddy!
Sorry I am a little late on these birthday wishes--and we officially suck at giving birthday presents and cards this year. Sorry family. Love you all!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
