Our first outing.

I'll go backwards.

Today Lucy had her first 'outing'! (She slept the WHOLE time.) Grandma Carrie came down and we went to lunch at Kneaders with Aunt Andrea, then shopping at Gap. We had a 30% off coupon, and as my mom says, when you have a coupon you really are just saving money! Haha. Love you mom. Grandma of course completely spoiled Lucy and bought her a beautiful easter dress among other cute fun summer things. She also got a cute swim suit, hat, and cover up for Lake Powell. I mean- she needed them right? =)

Yesterday my cute friends came down/over. Michelle and Emily drove down from up north, and then Shelley and Nicole came over. All to see Lucy! We had a great time hanging out, and later I left Lucy at home with daddy, and we all went to dinner at Applebees. --which I decided, I'm not a fan of.-- anyway. I forgot to take pictures, but it was so good to see all those girlys!

Wednesday Lucy had her two week doctors appointment! She is now 7 lbs 4 oz (15th percentile), 19.5 inches long (16th percentile), and her head is 13 cm. (1st percentile-- meaning yes. She pretty much has the smallest head ever. Weird I know.) She did great and is healthy as a horse as of now! Yay!

A few other random things.

I never knew 7 lbs could be so heavy.
Who knew such a little girl could poop so much? And project poop so far from her little bum?
I never thought I would have such a 'snorty' baby. I always know she's breathing though!
Sometimes I get worried her eyes are going to roll into the back of her head and stay there. It totally freaks me out, and is hilarious when she goes cross eyed.
I love her. But totally cannot even begin to imagine having another baby right now. She needs siblings- but my original plan of 5 children... I don't know. We'll see.

This picture is hilarious. She is saying..., "Mom- seriously. Didn't you listen to the doctor? My head is too small for this BIG bow!! Now take it off!"




She is so cute!!

Don't worry. I did take the bow off eventually. She'll grow into it.

    Carly she is so adorable! I still can't believe your married with a baby now too!! I thought about having kids like 2 yrs apart...BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I dunno if I want to have another one for a LONG while!!! Terrible two's are intense and I can't imagine having a baby around to take care of as well!!! Take care! I will be in Utah in september for a few months! I definitely want to come meet her! She is so cute!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
