the ladies trip.

we just got home from st. george this afternoon....
i am a little sun burnt, and even got a little tanner...
jealous?

and look how cute my baby is?

We had SO much fun this weekend, in our much needed girls trip vacation... 
We drove down thursday afternoon- hit up cafe rio and tj maxx & more
friday we ate at bear paw cafe- yum- swam- ate at 25 Main- yum- and shopped and then had coldstone and rocky mountain chocolate factory- yes- both. It was a girls trip...
saturday we swam again and watched little can can tear up the dance floor! after we went to the mall and to pizza factory- the one in washington is lame! it's set up like a rumbi- you order then seat your self and all this business. it's just lame.
we made up by getting spoon me after.
this morning it was the fairway grill for omlettes and home!
ahhh... already can't wait to be back in the sun!

apparently he didn't like how loud she was at breakfast this morning.. he kept staring at her and then told her to 'HUSH'.. and told us to stop encouraging her when we would laugh at her. it was so funny... you could tell the other couple he was with were pretty embarrassed. We didnt' seem to mind though.. she just kept on singing/yelling and he just kept on glaring...

    I just love St. George... especially when it's a girls trip! So glad you hit up 25 on Main. It's kinda my new favorite down there. Lucy is so stinkin' cute in her polka dot bikini!!

    Lucy is so adorable! I love the first picture of her! St. George is the best, we always hit up TJ Maxx & More while we are down there. I'm glad you have found and it definitely made me want to take girls trip!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
