Happy Birthday TY-TY!! & Candace...

This kid turned 25 yesterday.

Saturday night we went to Buca Di Beppo with his friends for his fabulous birthday dinner!

Sunday Tyler got breakfast in bed from the best wife ever....
a smoothie, AND chocolate chip pancakes.
(apparently you aren't supposed to post pictures of people in their underwear or i would have a picture...)

Went to church... and came up to kaysville to see the little candace who turned 14 today!!
she also is making the big switch from Farmington Jr high, to Kaysville Jr high and just made cheerleader there! Yay Can Can!

Then we went to the Crosland's and had some great artichokes--- Tyler's favorite.
We had so much fun hanging out with the whole family and playing at the park!

Lucy disappeared at the Croslands for a while... this is where we found her. All alone in the cowboy room just reading. She does this all the time at our house. It's so cute!

and i have to post this... our niece blake is so funny.

she really likes to pull out her little ponytail and have the most hilarious hair. 
one day after her and lucy stop beating each other up they will be the best of friends. I just know it! Haha. They are so funny together....

today we went to the tulip festival! pictures to come later!!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
