hot, hot, hot.

summer is in full force.
and it has been HOT outside!
and we love it... when we are swimming. =)
thursday lulu and i went to the lindon pool, and friday my mom and candace came down and swam with us again at the pool!
we also got hawaiian shaved ice, and red mango frozen yogurt that day with them! Yum.




Saturday my cheerios had their car wash/yard sale and then we headed up north to see our families.
we went to shawn and mel's so that lulu could meet her new cousin carter. he is so cute!

lucy was amazed at him, she just kept staring and trying to pet him, so cute!



saturday night we headed out to the farm to have a little bbq with amy and luke and their friends





they did bubbles for a while, and lucy was in heaven! it was so cute. she just hung out all night in her little chair, played in the sand box- trying to forward rolls in the sand, and playing bubbles with her cute cousin blake and friends! later we rode the horses, and lucy was in heaven!


still loving summer...

    she is so dang cute!!! i LOVE her swim suit in that first picture, adorable!!! and that picture of her smiling in the camping chair is to die for, she's a doll carly!!! and it was so good to see you at my wedding!! sorry i couldn't see you much, it was so busy! haha but thanks so much for coming, i really appreciate it! :) love you girl!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
