the good, and the bad.

We had a fabulous Friday!
i survived the long week of cheerios and stunt clinic...
i caught up on my sleep on the way up north- Tyler has pictures on his phone to prove it. They are awesome.
and we hit up the annual heritage place fest before the Bountiful parade!
Ed & LaRae welcomed us to their stompin' grounds for a hot dog, popsicle, and a parade.
awesome.
then we hit up my cute cousin Craig's Reception, and miraculously my whole family somehow ended up back at my parent's house!
we stared at cute baby carter, ate pizza late, and laughed at the funny boob shaped lights on the ceiling. =)


maybe one day these two will actually smile at the same time!





the bad news.
i ended up driving back to orem at 2 in the morning by myself due to a very sick little girl. (tyler drove home at about 11pm because he had to work in the morning and i was going to sleep over and to the pedal for Parkinson's bike ride in the morning with the crosland fam... bummer!)
her and daddy stayed up at watched 3 disney movies last night, and she crashed this morning at about 8am on the couch. poor thing.
we saw the doc this morning.
she has croup and an ear infection.... sigh....


we hope the little squirt feels better soon!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
