i love summer.
wednesday lulu and i headed up to bear lake with jeff and jessi.
bonnie had been up there since sunday, and the rest of the fam was coming up friday!
wednesday we got up there late and went to bed.
thursday i got up early and went for an awesome run, jessi and i layed out and i fried- awesome.
and we attempted to go to dinner. haha... there was this killer rain storm and everywhere was so packed... we finally got food on our 3rd try.

lucy wore piggy tails for the first time this week.
momentous occasion at our house.
and so cute!



friday we had the most amazing doughnuts ever....
seriously. it's this little coffee shop right next to cafe sabor in garden city... check it out next time you go. they are mini doughnut holes, and delicious.

then me, jeff, and jessi went 4 wheeling.
we even pulled off a jim craig on man from snowy river... and i survived.



friday afternoon daddy, and amy, luke, and blakey made it up and we swam at the warmest pool ever!
needless to say.. lucy missed her daddy.
she is becoming quite the daddy's girl lately.

we made it to dinner that night at cafe sabor and enjoyed of fab mexican food.
i love mexican food.


saturday we spent the WHOLE day at the beach. 
tyler and i look like tomatoes. and i even wore tons of sunscreen!
the lake felt so awesome because it was so hot... it was so fun just to be on the boat all day and spend a day at the lake! we definitely need to do it more.
i am a loser and forgot my camera!

these were all taken saturday night of the two girls just being cute and playing outside.
lucy was being so weird and just like relaxing and leaning back on this pole.
she is so funny sometimes.


these are so classic of blake. she is so dang cute, check out those big blue eyes and white blonde hair! love it! my camera was zoomed in to get a pic of lucy, and blake just posed so cute right in front of me. love it!

so you can't really tell here... but these pj's are super tight on miss jane. 
we were all laughing so hard because it looked like she was wearing spandex= oh well. so much for new pajamas!

we had so so much fun this week! it was so nice to get away and spend time with the family!
i'm off to logan this week for cheer camp up at utah state!
lucy is bouncing around between jessi, tyler, and both grandma's!
i get home thursday, and help out with candace's cheer camp for kjh thursday and friday, then friday afternoon head back up to bear lake with my family!
busy week... but fun!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
