May-Play
So I really suck at blogging lately-- Sorry if you read my blog, because it has been beyond boring---- BUT.... this is yet again another boring, look at what we have been doing this week in North Dakota...
but on the bright side.... it really is pretty beautiful here when it's sunny!
Clara is a champion at 'scooting' on this little walker/scooter she got for her birthday! I swear she just started walking, and now she can get on and off by herself, and scoot all over the place! So, she is waaayyyy more coordinate than Lucy. Haha. But really- Lucy is the most clumsy child ever, falls quite a bit, and ya... Clara is dang near running all over the place already!
This is at Qdoba this week-- just playing at the park, and lunch with cute friends Jenny and Heather after Yoga on Tuesday.
This is Lucy and her cute friend Ju-Ju--- Clara is on the swing with her sister Georgia!
Here's Clara with cute Matthew & Luke
and yes... Lucy peed her pants, so she is running around the restaurant in just her underware. We made quite the site with all 7 of our kids running around with just the 3 of us! =)
We had 'Lunch Bunch' for our Relief Society this week at our 'house'. There are SO many little girls-- I love it. Lucy was in heaven-- as always.
So this was the other night at 10:15pm.... It has been fun trying to put Lucy to bed with it light outside! Clara has been going to sleep at like 7pm... awesome, and sleeps until like 8am....
and Lucy has been doing pretty good. Depends on if she had a nap or not....
Cute Clara-bara at the park the other night. She is the happiest little baby!
Lucy also had her last day of gymnastics this week! They are closed for the summer, because they rent their building from the state fair-- so Lucy will miss it!
last night Tyler and I were able to go out too. It's been so nice to be able to swap kids for date night! We went to the Alaska Alder Grill, which we had heard was really nice and good-- and it was good, but they just had tables set up in the middle of their gift shop! It was so weird. Haha-- anyway. We do live in North Dakota!
I have REALLY been missing Utah this week-- it has been rainy and cold the last few days, so I am SOOOOOO excited to go home on Saturday! I know I'm going for 3 weeks, but I seriously wish it was longer! I miss my mom, and just normal things to do. I don't mean to seem all debbie-downer, but I am just getting realllllyyy excited to go home!!
any tips for flying solo with 2 kiddos? i'm thinking this could be a fun couple plane rides! ;)

Flying solo with kids- I have only done it with one kid (4 times) but it's been a long 30 hours of international travel each way. My best advice though is to give yourself plenty of time- it can take forever to get through security with a baby. Also, and this sounds selfish, but just worry about getting you and your kids there happily, and try not to worry if you are disturbing people around you. If your baby cries on the flight it isn't going to ruin their lives. What is most important is your relationship with your kids:) Have fun in Utah! I'm jealous!
