sunshine & fun

We have had such a fun week! It has been in the high 70's-80's all week, and Sunny! Yay!
Monday night Tyler was in Dickinson so we headed back to Jimmy Johns and ate dinner at the park with Celeste & Anson. Clara LOVED drinking out of the water cup all by herself. She wants to be just like Lucy so bad! Such a cutie.

Tuesday we met our friends Heather, and her 3 boys, and Amy & Ashlyn at the park! The girls and I ran there, and Ashlyn got to come home with us too! Her and Lucy thought it was awesome to all be piled in the stroller together. Lucy crashed when we got home when her and Ashlyn were watching a movie- I think poor Ash was bored to death!

I also found out I am running the St. George marathon again! Yay! I am seriously so excited, and so excited for another trip to Utah in October! =) I've already been running, but let the training really begin!
Clara is usually a pretty light sleeper, but I could NOT wake her up Tuesday. She was out cold like this, and had been for like 2 1/2 hours! She was so mad when I finally got her to wake up.

Wednesday my friend Heather and I took our kids on quite the adventure! Haha-  We walked from by the mall all the way to the Scandinavian park, it was like an hour and a half walk there, we spent like an hour and a half there, then another like 2 hours home! Did I mention her 5 year old, and 3 year old boys were on BIKES? haha. It was awesome, and her kids are troopers! We had so much fun, and were exhausted, and sun burnt! Tyler even got to meet us at the park for lunch. Lucy was in heaven running down the hill, and even learned how to roll down the hills! She wore her cute new cowboy hat and sunglasses all the way there.

Lucy also fell asleep that night eating dinner... Haha. Literally- she was in bed asleep by 7:15pm, and slept the next day until 8:15! I think it wore her out! And she wasn't even on a bike. =)

Better late than never right-- these are the cute flowers Tyler got me for Mothers day! We had a great mothers day, and I even got German pancakes made for me for breakfast, and breakfast burritos for dinner! (is it obvious we like breakfast food? =)) Tyler is so good to me, and I am so lucky to be a mom of such cute girls! I am also so lucky to have the best mom and mother-in-law! Seriously. They are the greatest. My girls have the best grandmas in the world!

last night I hosted an Arbonne party for my cute friend Celeste, so Tyler took Lucy on a date! She was SO excited to go! They went to the Arcades at the mall, then she chose out a new soccer ball at Scheels, and got a pretzel.

She is so animated lately, you have NO idea, unless you have met her! =) She walked in from being gone and saw a few of my friends there, and just screams! "Ahhh!! My Friends!!! Hi Guys! Look at my ball! Hey Look at me!"... That is seriously Lucy 24-7. Big smile on her face, center of attention, and SO animated. She loves being around people. Last week at the Ballet we were sitting by Jaymie and her mom, and by the end of the night, Jaymie's mom was just 'Grandma' to Lucy. She even saw her again at church on Sunday, and insisted on sitting by 'Grandma'! I had to tell her that it was Ruby's grandma and not hers, but it doesn't matter to her! She is such a sweet little girl, and loves loves having friends and being with people.

We had a fun time last night at our little 'party'! So thanks Celeste! We always end up staying up to late and laughing so hard when we all get together.

Clara is now strictly walking! It's so funny, she really doesn't crawl anymore at all! She keeps trying to drink her bottles standing up to. She is so silly.

On a random side note, I hate doing Lucy's hair, and it's usually in a little half pony as we're running out the door to the gym. Sunday I had time, so I thought we'd test the 'Lake Powell Hair'! Haha. So I didi her hair Sunday morning, and this was tonight, Friday at like 6 o'clock. I think it passed the test!

Also- Lucy is already so tan. Seriously- 3 days in the sun, and she's my little brown baby.
I love my two girls!
