Snow White

The weather has finally gotten warm and kind of stayed that way! Yay!
We had two picnic lunches this week at different parks, and the girls were in Heaven! This is Thursday with a bunch of ladies in our ward at the park by our church.

Lucy loving my new sunglasses in the car. She's a cutie!

We went shopping on Friday with Celeste & Anson and Lucy fell asleep in Clara's stroller... So i got stuck carrying Clara all over! Finally Lucy woke up but still wouldn't get out of the stroller, so I just stuck Clara in there with her! I seriously need to keep my double stroller in my car!

We found a pink cowboy hat at Target and Lucy was in love! I am hoping she will wear it in the sun! She had to go home and put it on and carry around her horse- Wyo!
This picture like describes her perfectly. She is so funny lately.

Friday night was our night to babysit in our little co-op, and Lucy was in heaven with all of her little friends over!

Stetson, Ashlyn, Lucy, Sky, and Stewart

Saturday morning we met up with Heather, Jenny, Tera, and Cody to run. I had thought that this trail was only 3 miles, so we were going to do out back and make it 6-- Well me, Heather, and Jenny made it almost the whole way, and it turns out we ran 8 miles instead of 6! Haha. But it is so beautiful out there, and feels so good to run in the morning! Especially with friends! Jenny and I have been running a couple times during the week early too. We're all planning on running the Bismarck Half-marathon in September.

That afternoon Jaymie's little girl, Violet, had her 6th Birthday party at our local ice-skating rink. Lucy was so excited to try it out! For about a half hour... Haha. But she really did like it, and I'm sure she will want to go out! I love that they have these little walkers now!

Lucy loves being around all of these kids! Jaymie made the best cupcakes ever too. Such a fun party, thanks Jaymie!

That night I wanted to take Lucy on a little date to go see some our local Ballet company's performance of Snow White! Jaymie's little girl, Ivy, danced in it and was darling! There were a few other little girls from our ward too, and we're hoping to sign Lucy up this fall. I think she'll love it!

We got Jimmy Johns on the way there and ate it in the grass out front with Daddy & Clara!
Clara really just wanted her own sandwich. She is so funny lately.

Lucy also insisted on wearing her wings with her 'Snow White' dress to the Ballet.

cute Ivy is in the blue.

There were 2 intermissions, and Lucy was in love with the whole thing! She loved getting her own treat, and being just with mom. She sat on my lap so she could see better, and we even got to sit on the 2nd row! (Thanks Jaymie!)

When the Snow White story finally started, Lucy would get SO excited anytime she was on, and then the prince came on too. It was all pretty exciting to this little girl. I'm so glad she loved it, because it was like 3 hours long!

And check out the prince... oh my gosh, he was such a weasel! Haha. It was painful to watch him. The girls however, were amazing! I was seriously impressed- who would have thought Minot would have such a good Ballet company?

So fun, we ran into Cody & Sky there, then Jaymie & cute Ivy, Angie & Missoni, and of course Lucy & Snow White!

  1. That's pretty impressive that a girl Lucy's age enjoyed a ballet that much! my niece Savanna (Brooke's oldest) was the same way, and now she LOVES being in ballet. hope Lucy will be the same!
