Pre-School

Lucy Jane started pre-school this week! Ah!

Lucy had her first day EVER of school this week at Kid City Play School! She love, love, Loved it! She was So excited to go, and having her best friend, Skye, in her class made it that much better! I let her choose out what she wanted to wear that morning (between a few previously chosen outfits by myself... let's be realistic here people. it's me. haha...) and she chose how she wanted her hair done, etc... I tried to make her breakfast, but she always insists on cheerios. She has honey-nut cheerios every. single. morning. with. out. fail. and sometimes and egg. after the cheerios... anyway. She is cute, and I just love her! I was such a super proud mom. We were the first ones there, and last ones to leave! Haha, Yay Lucy! She can't wait to go back tomorrow! (It was so weird dropping Clara off at the gym daycare all by herself! I think she was missing her big sister!)
all of these pictures were taken just outside of her classroom. her school is in this old building downtown that was flooded last summer. everything is re-done and there is even this awesome bakery that we love right next door. trouble...
 I know there are a lot of similar pictures, but Tyler's parents got me Adobe photoshop Lightroom for my birthday, so I have been attempting to figure it out! So far I Love it, it's just taking me a little big longer to edit pictures and get blog posts up!
 Clara always wants to be like her big sister! I just love this picture of both of them! and both of their crooked leggings. awesome.

    I only use Lightroom and LOVE it!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
