January... it's over!! ... and little updates.

So January was REALLy cold... to say the least. I think with wind chill it was down to -60 degrees a few days. Talk about awesome! ;-) My coat has already paid for itself over...

Our girl's have gotten pretty dang cute....
Clara decided she was ready for a bed... Luckily putting a pillow and big blanket in her crib made her crib ok!
had a few date nights with this cute guy-- and playing a lot with my little Lucy, who is now almost 4!
Lucy's imagination is pretty awesome... she plays by herself for a couple hours each day while Clara takes a nap and I usually work or get stuff done-- here she is 'sleeping' in her 'rocket ship'. She could literally play by herself all day!
and this castle... she's pretty obsessed! Thanks Grandma!
Clara has been crazy as ever. We call her our big 'crazy-baby'. She's pretty dang cute though!
Had a couple of family dates at Barnes & Noble... hottest place in Minot! Haha...
Lucy has ballet Tuesdays and Thursdays, and loves it! She just learned to skip this week! Finally! The look on her face when she finally got it was so cute! Mr. Rinat was so proud of her too!
She also loves gymnastics on Fridays! She is pretty close to to her cartwheel. She has taught herself 100%. They don't work on anything at all like that at gymnastics... haha... but she loves practicing in the living room! She also loves working on her backbend!
Here she is with her cute friends, Ruby & JuJu
Lucy and Clara both LOVE the iPad. I'm sure most kids this age do. We have to hide it from them most of the time. But Lucy absolutely loves Little Einstein's, and Clara is obsessed with Mickey Mouse! I love those cartoons too. Lucy gets to watch early in the mornings, and Clara does when she is super grumpy. Haha-- awesome Parenting 101!
 Love these two!
We currently play hide and seek about 3 times a day. Lucy and Clara are obsessed! Clara can even count-- she mimics whatever we say and comes to find us! It's pretty dang cute.
Another date night with our dear friends...
and after a dreadfully cold weekend, driving an hour and 45 minutes to Bismarck one Monday felt like a vacation! Nothing like a Sam's club run and lunch at 5 guys! It wore these girls right out!
Clara is loving nursery, she loves her mullet, and LOVES blowing her nose!
Clara also loves taking her bibs off, climbing on the counters, and finding her Button!
Tyler's mom also found this adorable picture of him and Porter... I love how young they look! And look at all that hair P? Haha...
Clara also love loves sitting on the potty. She tells me right after she goes pee/poop, wants her diaper off immediately, then sits on the potty only to wipe. It's hilarious... I don't have any plans to potty train her soon, but who knows. She will probably be wiping better than Lucy in no time!
 she is trouble...
Lots of morning snuggles... Morning cartoons for Lucy, mama sleeping, and Clara falling back to sleep in her crib until I wake up to her screaming "MAMA!"
I sure love this little girl with pig-tails-- check out those little buns!
We went to Target the other day and I got the girls popcorn while I shopped-- best $2 I ever spent, why don't I do that every time? It was amazing! Lucy came home and watched a movie with the rest of the popcorn while I worked... awesome. i love that little girl!
Life is good. It's pretty dang cold, but slowly starting to warm up! (20's this week!) Trying to plan a small trip soon so we have something to look forward too! Until then I'll just swoon over two of my best friend's babies being born this month! Yay! And mama comes to visit in 2 weeks!

Comments

  1. I wish I could have some date nights with "this cute guy."

Also, I going to start showing pictures of Lucy to Cash to start to program his subconscious. Their kids would be gorgeous.
