We made it to February!

 February has FLOWN by! By stark contrast to January.... anywho... A little of what we've been up to around these parts... We said goodbye to our friends the Woodwards as they took off for sunny California! I can't believe we're already saying goodbye to friends, it's so sad! I headed up to our friend Cody's house to say goodbye after I left Tyler at our 2nd annual attendance of of the Souris Valley River somethin' somethin' hunting banquet... we went last year for Tyler's work like 4 days after we moved in! It was SOOO long and boring, but Tyler stayed in hopes to win a gun! 
 Lucy has stayed cute as ever and is loving Gymnastics... she has learned absolutely nothing there, but loves to play in our living room, and an now can do a cartwheel and a handstand! I'm so proud!
 We had a blast at Lucy's birthday party and are still eating Valentine candy!
 can you tell Clara was sick? Poor thing!
 Valentines Day was awesome!  We ate traditional sugar cookies, the girlies got a little Valentine book and outfit... Tyler surprised me with a new phone! (I dropped mine in the bathtub last week!)... I ended up having a pretty hectic day working, but overall it was a fabulous Valentines day!
 Clara was still pretty sick, but we made it down to Lucy's Valentines Day preschool party, and I got the most amazing lunch to go at Sweet N' Flour... I was pretty dang happy eating my delightful lunch when Tyler walked through the door with my new phone! What a guy.... what a guy!
Lucy had a blast at her pre-school party! I get a mother-of-the-year award for doing her box myself the morning of....while she was already at school... Sorry Lu. Maybe next year!?
 Clara stood there like a bump on a log... and kept in the corner!

 The Saturday after Valentines we had a multi-ward adult only Sweethearts dance at the church! It was awesome, and OH so entertaining! I sure hope they make this an annual event!
 We had live music and all!
 It was like -20 last week. It was freezing. I was leaving Walmart, and slipped on the ice, dropped Clara who smacked her head against the car, and landed on my elbow. I cried. We're all fine. But ice-crem makes everything better somehow, right?
 We invited ourselves to our friends' house for dinner... then watched them make a Harlem Shake video. We're that cool! Love you Anna!.... and lots of snuggles with daddy!
 and last but not least, Grandma made it! She flew in Thursday afternoon! We have done a whole lot of hanging out and it's been awesome! These girls LOVE their grandma!
 I can't get over how cute she is... Love her!
 Grandma Bonnie sent the girls some money for Valentines Day, Clara chose out her Minnie doll-- she's obsessed! And Lucy got a Doc McStuffins Dr Kit! They are sooo excited. Sure love these little cuties!
 We left Clara home with Tyler yesterday, grabbed some lunch just us girls and shopped a little! I can't believe how big Lucy is getting!
 The rest of Grandma's trip to come... Lucy turns 4... TOMORROW! Ah!

    You amaze me Carly! I can't believe how much you accomplish...you seem like such an incredible mom...those lucky, lucky girls!
    PS...I LOVE that picture of Lucy with her pigtails! Magazine worthy...

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
