Summer adventures...

After we had recovered from 'Fair week' we made our way up to the Turtle Mountains... Yup. Those little hills there in the distance is what these people call mountains! We ended up picking our Bountiful basket up there at Lake Metigoshe, then let the kids swim in the lake! In the 70 degrees... Haha! A little too cold for me, but it is absolutely gorgeous up there, and the girls loved it!
That next Sunday was craaazy. We had my cute friend Angie's baby blessing in the other ward in the morning, ran home to eat lunch, came back for Lucy to give her first ever talk in Primary!!, Tyler ran home to grab his wallet because a member of the Stake presidency happened to be in Minot so we could do our temple recommend interviews that day instead of driving to Bismarck later that week... Yipee! Then I taught Relief Society for my first time ever, while Tyler taught Elders Quorum (usually we teach the Youth Sunday school together... haha...) Then we had our temple recommend interviews, then raced home to make dinner, and my cute visiting teaching partner, (who is also the cutest grandma lady ever who hands out lollipops to the kids after church everyweek... aka... 'lollipop lady') came with me to take dinner to one of my good friends Melissa, after visiting Melissa for a while, she dropped me off at the park where Tyler had taken the 2 girls, and the other half of the dinner... to Angie's dinner for her baby! It was insane. crazy. If every Sunday was like that I think I'd die. I much prefer the 3 hours of  church and a good nap. ;-)
But in good news, the Jacobs finally got home that Sunday, so Monday we took ALLLL the kids to the Y to get out of the house and the rain!
Tyler was SUPER busy this week with work, and truck washing so we took him dinner one night and the girls loved the trucks!
We did a lot of this while they worked....
I took these girls running with me for the first time in forever and forgot that my running stroller is the bomb.com, and also how much harder it is to run pushing 2 kids. haha. None the less- they are troopers and I love them dearly.
Lucy also got some new school clothes in the mail from our Gymbucks and Grandma Carrie- she couldn't wait to send Grandma a pic... and then posed like this. Bless her.
Just to explain how weird the weather has been...
We had a couple sunny days above 70... wahoo! So we enjoyed the pool almost completely empty, because apparently you dont' swim when it's that cold? Haha, we sure do! and cutie Clara loves hanging out in her stroller about every 20 minutes or so and just relaxing. She's a hoot. Apparently she likes snapping pics as well!
 here she is 'flying'!
Lucy's fort she 'slept' in. (lasted 30 minutes... but I still got the coolest mom award for letting her sleep in her fort!
I got dressed for the first night in maybe 2 weeks for a quick girls dinner before we headed out for utah the next week! It's always nice to get a good shower in...
Our last weekend in town we went camping! We headed out to Lake Sakakawea for a quick getaway! Nothin' better than a campfire dog!
Of course it rained ALL night, and the whole next morning- we were dry and comfortable, but it kind of ruined our plans for the next day! But alas, the girls still had a blast and it was fun snuggling in the tent together for a while anyway!
and last but not least... how cute is my little Clara doing Yoga!? I dont' really go to the gym in the summer at all, so I started following some aweomse Yogi's on instagram to keep me modivated, they are all seriously amazing and most of them do a daily challenge, so I have been doing a lot of Yoga at home, and the girls love it! It's so funny to watch them try all of the poses. I seriously love these girls! It's been so fun to try new things. I've been doing Yoga about twice a week for the last 18 months and LOVE it, but I would say 80% of these poses I had never done or even seen, so I love it. I'm hoping I can get certified to teach sometime in the next year or so, but we'll see. It's expensive! Until then I'll just keep hanging out in my living room with my girls! Haha

Utah trip is up next!
