 How cute are these kids? No worries, both of my kids refused to wear the shoes they got to go with the dresses. I didn't even try to fight Clara... that girl is the Queen. And with Lucy i lost the battle. But either way! They all looked adorable!
The kids all got these adorable corsages to wear on their wrists- on a slap bracelet no less! Awesome. Clara loved hers, until she decided that she didn't.

 even if he disappears when I want to get a pic of us with the bride and groom. It's fine. I wanted a picture of just me with them anyway.
 Here cake was GORGOUS! But my favorite part was the few itty-bitty fingerprints found in the side... Haha! I'm sure it was one of our kids who just wanted to experiment a little!
 Lucy kept getting in line to go talk to Jessi & Stefan. She probably stood and went through the line like 4-5 times! She would just chat and make friends with whoever she was standing in line with. She's hilarious.
and I especially love Clara in the series of Grandkid pictures....
 Everything was absolutely gorgeous at the reception! They did pretty much everything themselves and it was so so cute! 
 I think I cry enough for the entire Crosland family put together. I totally teared up watching these two dance! Cute Jessi and her dad... Love it.
 But then the magic REALLY started... Lucy had been playing with Stefan's nephew all night, Porter- and they were just being so so cute. She came and asked me if I wanted to dance, but was sitting right next to Porter, so I said why don't you ask Porter if he wants to dance? She of course jumps up, "Ok mom! Porter, do you want to come dance with me!?" Porter was SO cute... just eating his cake..."Well... Uhm.. Ok. Let me just have one more bite." Hahaha... They were hilarious! They danced for like 3 songs straight! Twirls, spins, lifts, dips, etc... It was the most awesome thing ever!
 They even went and danced up on the little 'stage' all alone. Oh how romantic!
Until Porter was done. Then Lucy was crushed and in tears. Luckily we had dad to save the day!
they even made up and danced again a little later on. Sigh...
 We sent them off with Sparklers, that was SO cute!
 Congrats again you two! We're so excited to have Stefan be part of the Crosland gang! It was such a beautiful wedding!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
