Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was awesome! Utah got so much snow the week before, but Christmas Eve was a gorgeous sunny day and with us living in Minot now for 2 years- well as you can see Tyler was in short sleeves, and no coats. Summer!
We went with my family to go see Frozen! My mom had bought Clara a ticket too, and since she didn't need one we invited Blake to come with us! It just keeps getting better- the girls have the soundtrack memorized! I love it!
Candace's missionary sent her flowers and we sent the kids in to deliver them while she was sleeping!
We spent the afternoon just hanging out and eating lots of good food! My Aunt Cindy came up as usual, and we had a fabulous meal of Steak, twice baked potatoes, rolls, pomegranate salad, etc... Yum!
This is the first time my whole family has been together since last Christmas! It was so fun just to relax and all hang out!
after dinner we went downstairs to read the Nativity, and exchange sibling gifts, etc....
Kyle got the girls both Frozen dolls, and Cheryl got them each a TON of books! The perks of being a school teacher! They are all so cute. Carter & Katelyn gave Lucy a Cinderella Barbie, and Clara another Minnie Mouse. Never enough of those at our house!
We got my parents both Calendars! Its a little time consuming, but I love going back through all of the pictures over the years!
Lucy sang 'Away in a Manger' again, so Clara wanted to join in sang us, "Twinkle Twinkle". I sure love these two cute girls!
These girls both Love their aunt Cheryl. She is always teaching them something!
Then we all go PJ's- Shawn is loving is Patagonia thermals. He's obsessed.
Thanks Grandma!
and the attempts of getting a picture of the grandkids in front of the tree commenced....
and Candace looovvvess being in front of the camera!
and we took a family pic- Hooray!
and one with Aunt Cindy
and one of the siblings of course in our new jammies- or jeans I guess.
and then we tried jumping.... it went pretty poorly!
and then the girls were tucked in their beds, while visions of Sugar plums danced in their heads!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
