Farewell Utah
Like 6 new posts below! So just keep going back if you want to catch up! =)
We only had a few days left in Utah! Saturday I went to my second class down at Prana Yoga at Station Park. Seriously- amazing. It was so fun to be in an actual Yoga studio for the first time, and the classes were amazing. I got to go 3 times while I was there, and you can guarantee I'll be back the next time we're in Utah! That day we went up to eat at the Bun Basket, and make a visit to the animal store (Toy Store... but where we get all of our Schleich toys!)
After lunch we hung out at the Croslands all night where we had one last big Family dinner. Can I just say, I keep hearing horror In-law stories, and mine are the absolute best. We have SUCH a good time with both families while we are in Utah, and the girls are so luck to have so many people that love and care about them. It's pretty awesome.
Of course while I'm gone it gets so cold that they cancel Church and school! Haha. During the big 'Polar Vortex' it gone down to -60 with wind chill pretty much all of Sunday, and Monday! Brrrrrr! Poor Tyler was stuck inside all alone! But at least he was safe and warm!
These all say -54 with windchill and different times throughout the day! Holy crap!
We on the other hand still had church, and the girls were so excited to FINALLY go to Primary! Haha. It was Grandma's last week in nursery and Clara got to go with, and Lucy brought home a CTR ring for graduating from Sunbeams!
Bonnie babysat for me one more time so my mom and I could go up skiing one last time on Monday! It was seriously the most perfect day, and the most beautiful I've ever seen up there. Killer. Epic. Loved it. and Most definitely my favorite place in the world!
It was a pretty awesome day! Thanks momma!
We headed home early to grab the girls and headed down to Midway to see the Ice Castles! I thought the girls would love them because they are just like Elsa's castle, but they both fell asleep on the way there and were pretty ornery the whole time. Haha- such is life right? We still made it fun!
This is the best pic.... Haha!
But at least the girls were cute at dinner afterward! Hehe
Shawn & Mel stopped by that night to say Goodbye and we had a tub party with all of the little hooligans.
We flew out on Tuesday! I snuck in one more Yoga class I had left on my card which was amazing, and we stopped by the Croslands to say goodbye before we headed to the airport! We got there in pretty good time and had enough time to grab Cafe Rio one more time at the Airport! Wahoo!
Our flight to Denver went great and from there it turns out Jaymie and her 5 kids were on our flight to Minot! We made quite the spectacle being two single moms with 7 kids, but it was so nice to have a friend to chat with and catch up with on the flight home! Flying with your bestie is always better!
We made it home alive, well, and exhausted! Welcome January!
scroll down for all of my Christmas posts!
