Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve at my mom's house, and had a wonderful Christmas morning there as well! The girls were SO excited to see what Santa had given them!
The stockings were a big hit! But they each got a lunch box- Minnie Mouse, and Hello Kitty, and inside were some Hello Kitty bandaids. And that was probably the favorite gift! Haha
 Grandma and Grandpa got the girls a new dress up and a magic wand! Perfect!
 Candace got my same camera! Lucky duck!
Clara got her 'mermaid just like Lucy's' from Santa and was SO excited. Lucy got a pirate doll to go with her mermaid!
I got Tyler his Lions tee, a calendar for his office, a Barnes & Noble gift card, and some new clothes!
 Grandma also got the girls a Jake & the Neverland Pirates Sword and telescope, and Lucy her Bow & Arrow and Merida dress up! Along with a couple of new outfits! She was SO excited!!
Cheryl took the girls on a Book scavenger hunt! I think they each got like 6-7 books! Sheesh!
after opening gifts we ran over to the Crosland house for Bonnie's famous breakfast scones!
 We were able to FaceTime with Ben & Carrie for a bit while opening gifts. We missed them!
 The girls finished opening a few gifts from us. We got them some Frozen figurines, My little Pony's, a couple of books, them each a new leotard, and their lunchboxes. They each got a Christmas outfit as well. I always try to stay simple, but I swear they end up with so much crap!
 Baby Logan is the cutest!
 I don't know why I don't have more pictures of opening gifts, but we got Tyler's parents calendars as well, and they got us all a trip to Sea World and San Diego! We are going in February and are SO excited!! The girls each got their own suitcase with a cute stuffed sea world dolphin!
 After gifts we went out to go sledding! It was perfect weather to go!
Jessi & Stefan kept taking their dog down. So funny!
 We had a blast sledding and came home to eat a fabulous meal! Of steak, rolls, potatoes, and of course CRAB! Best meal of the whole year! We ended up all staying in our pajamas/sweats and it was awesome!
 We did a little nativity after dinner and the kids were all just hammered. It was pretty hilarious. But Lucy was a sweet Mary, Clara a naked sheep, Tyler Joseph, and Stefan a pretty manly shepherd. Hahaha!
 It was such a perfect Christmas. After the kids were in bed I was able to sit down and finish my goal! I wanted to do 100% for 100 days, and my main goal was to finish the Book of Mormon in 100 days! I definitely wasn't perfect, and had some catch up days, but I did it! It was so awesome to read it consecutively and consistantly. I had read it before of course, but it was so different. I felt like I was reading it for the first time. I can't wait to do it again this year! The church is true! I challenge you to read it, Really read it. You won't regret it.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
