Disneyland 2015

I love Disneyland SO SO much. And I love going without children! I loved taking my kids more than anything, and I can't wait to bring them back, but after going last year here on a girls trip, and then again this year... Well I'm sold. It's the most fun thing EVER.
We got like 3 hours of sleep the night before but we were up ready, sneakers on, backpacks ready, and at the park as it opened at 8:00am. We started at California Adventure, and there was forecast for lots and lots of rain that afternoon, so it was EMPTY. We hit all of the big rides, Cars, Screamin', Tower of Terror all like 6 times. and of course had to check out the Frozen area... Souvenir scouting of course.
Brett and I were swing dancing in Cars land and totally face planted. I so wish that was on film! It would have made the best bloopers part 3. Especially after the airport and beach cartwheeling disasters... Good times. I guess we'll settle for a handstand.
Saying hello to a few of the characters for the children of course!
We headed over to Disneyland around noon to prepare for our Cafe Orleans reservations!
The castle was covered in scaffolding. So so lame.
 Space Mountain! Best everrrrrrrrrr!
Still had to tuck anyway. Brett was not impressed.
We're so creative in our yoga posing...
And the main event. Pomme Frites and the Monte Cristo Sandwich at Cafe Orleans. It's SOOOOOOO Good! I dream of it in my sleep.
 So happy.
We kept trying to get a good group shot that we could buy the picture and then super impose Jenny into it... So fail after fail, Brett is determined to make this picture happen on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Little does he know, there's no picture on this ride. But it was great watching him ride the whole ride with his arm up and around the invisible Jenny and smile on his face!
Then the rains came. Brett headed back to the hotel to take a nap so he could survive work the next day, and Jaymie and I embarked upon what I like to call- the boat tour.
Small World. Pirates. Etc... Etc...
We were so tired and were kind of just wandering aimlessly for a few hours, stopping to eat ice cream, hopping on a random ride here and there, walking through stores.. just trying not to give in to sleep!
Brett made it back and our second wind kicked in! We had some deliciously amazing bread bowls on the Pacific Wharf Pier at C.A. hit Tower of Terror and screaming a few more times, and of course space mountain and were ready to roll!
I think the best moment from this night was standing in front of the castle and midnight eating our churros and me failing miserably at yet another Evans family game that i had no clue was even going on!
And we survived... 8am-1am. So tired. So delirious. So wet. So much fun.

We slept in a little bit and headed over to the park around 11am! Brett had to work, so it was just us two! We totally just relaxed this day, and it was so nice. We left our stinky wet tennis shoes that gave us all 'Trench foot' at the hotel and wore our flip flops and that alone felt so nice. Haha! The sun was shining and it was such a beautiful day!
We headed over to see the Frozen sing along and got right in, even with out fast passes! It was so so cute. And we totally both teared up and how adorable it was and not having all of our girls there with us! I think I'll cry forever when I hear, "Do you want to build a snowman..." Seriously. I have two girls that reenact that song all the time, and it's just the sweetest ever.
We then headed over to the Cove Bar for their famous Lobster Nachoes! They were seriously amazing and we had the best sliders too!
We did the Ferris wheel with two crazy 10 year old boys, haha, and the swings! My favorite!
We did Screamin' and Tower of Terror each 2 more times before grabbing our Ghiradelli Sundae and heading back to Disneyland!
We walked in just in time to get front row seats to the parade! Yay!
Lucy was SO excited last year when Mary Poppins wished her a Happy Birthday from this same parade, so of course I had to snap a pic! I hope we can be back here next year for her birthday!
We did Space Mountain, and all the big rides again, and hit up Toontown! We debated about waiting in line to see Minnie, but spent our time shopping for the girls instead! Haha!
 Before the tea cups....
 and after...
Brett was meeting us at Downtown Disney, so before we left to meet him we had to grab the last few important things... Dole Whips and Beignets!
We spent the night wandering the shops in Downtown Disney and finishing up our souvenir buying for the kiddos. I'm set up for Lucy's Birthday, Easter, and Clara's birthday! Haha!

and just for reference... Some memories from the trip... Singing 'Sugar' at the top of our lungs one million times, quoting SNL one million times, reenacting 'The Californians' Every 10 minutes, "You look like a freaking dumpster", "There's room for everyone", and so many more I know I'll remember later!

If you couldn't already tell... We had the best weekend! It was so so nice to have a little break, and I was SO excited to get home to my my girls and their amazing dad! He really is the best. I did the girl's hair in  camping hair, and that's what he was most stressed about! After I took care of that, He did not complain once all weekend, and they had the best time with their dad! I also have some awesome friends who watched little Clara those couple days I was gone! I'm so so glad I got to go! It was definitely a trip to remember!

Up next, Little Lulu turns 6!

and scroll back for the rest of our trip in the last post!
