Lucy turns 6!

Lulu is now 6 years old! I can't even believe it! Her birthday is the 25th, and I flew in that morning at 10:30am! Tyler and I went to pick up cupcakes for her class and surprised her at lunch! She was so excited to see us, but even more relieved to have cupcakes for her class. I love her!
 We had a pretty lazy afternoon, but Daddy had outdone himself in the morning and surprised her with balloons- even a giant tinkerbell one! 
 Clara is ever the adoring little sister- she is also on the countdown until her birthday- 38 days. Holy cow! She's a bit exhausting, and so so hilarious!
 When daddy got home we had a few different facetime calls, and opened lots of presents!
She got the cutest Frozen watch and lots of art supplies from grandma and papa crosland, and this beautiful CTR Ring from Aunt Jessi.
 We got her some cute fairies and sweatshirt from Disneyland, and an Elsa Coronation dress. She was pretty excited about everything!
 She also got the cutest Jewelry box and jewelry from Grandma and Grandpa Brock! The lucky duck!
 We had a fun family date to Panera for her birthday dinner as requested! She's the sweetest 6 year old ever! And I'm surprised I survived the day with such little sleep after the red eye flight! So glad I made it home though!

We had her birthday party that Friday night. Eleanor turned 2 the day after Lucy, so we just got a bunch of our family friends together in our community room for a low-key birthday celebration and pool party! All Lucy requested for the party was a Fairy party and pin the wings on the fairy! She threw on her fairy costume over her swimsuit and was happy as a clam!

 I love these two. And I know- isn't the cake the most gorgeous thing ever? There's a reason I usually put Jaymie in charge of the cake! My skills lie in the cookies my friends.
 Lucy really wanted to shove her face in her cake. She's so funny!

Other familes there were the Noel's obviously, Jacobs, Gepharts, McRaes, Davies, Mittons, Ormsbys, and Zimmermans.
 We opened gifts quick before the pool fun happened! The cutest fairy house from Ruby Sue!
 Mark's such a good sport! We sent all the dad's in the pool, and the enjoyed the chaos of a million kids! Haha!
We had to run back in to play pin the wand on Tinker bell. Party City saves the day!
 The best part was the end of the night seeing Lucy and all of her little best friends sitting around a table telling each other jokes and laughing hysterically! They seriously sat there for almost an hour!
Lucy had so much fun! Glad we got to celebrate Lucy and Eleanor!
I still can't believe I have a 6 year old!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
