Happy Birthday Ty!

Image
Happy Birthday to my cute pie! Tyler is 26 today! He is actually starting a new job, and training is up in Ogden, so he slept at his parents house last night and I haven't even gotten to see him! Lucy has seriously loved having him home, and when I went in there this morning she just kept asking for 'Daddy'.  She is seriously attached to him.... it will be so fun to see how she gets even more attached to him when we have this baby! We celebrated Ty's birthday on Saturday- which happened to be Prom! We got to see both Tyler's little sister, Jessi, and my little brother, Kyle, before they left! Jessi is seriously gorgeous. and her and Bonnie just got home the day before from being in Peru for 10 days...  cute kyle and his best friend, Mary.  so Tyler never wants anything for his birthday- you know, other than like a new ipad or something totally un-buyable for us right now- so, we got together with all of his close friends at the Lonestar in Centerville to celeb...

well, the end is near my friends. as of may 4th- miss clara mae- as we shall call her for now- will make her debut! that is the day i am scheduled to be induced if i don't pop beforehand- which let's be really honest. i went 5 days late with lucy, so.... i'm planning on may 4th! 3 weeks from today! ah! it's coming quickly- this week we have been washing baby clothes and blankets, raising the crib again, organizing the girls room, etc... etc....  trying to get everything ready before the little one arrives. at my doctors appointment today, i am dilated to a 1- wahoo right? honestly. is there even a need to check at this point? haha. but baby girl is healthy, and we're excited to get her here safe and sound. my giant belly is awesome. people keep looking at me like i am going to give birth at any given second. i've gained like 25ish lbs so far- about the same as with lucy, but i'm sure it will just keep going up! i can't help it- seeing everyone's...

annual girls st. george trip

Image
welp. didn't go into labor on my last trip before the baby comes! success. we headed down to st. george on thursday for candace's dance competition down there- she is so amazingly talented. i'm so glad i still have an excuse to go to all these fun competitions and such.  thursday we made the usual pit stop at- my mind just went blank at the name of the place- restaurant in payson, made it to st george to watch american idol- my mom and coleen are huge fans- and had dinner. friday it was freezing and my poor mom was sick from taking an ambien the night before- silly mom. i tried to tell her not to do it! but we made it to 'brunch' at the bear paw cafe, and even though lucy pooped twice and scared off the table next to us- seriously, they asked to move because she was making so much noise- happy noise- screaming and talking- how rude huh? but anyway- it was still delicious and we spent the day shopping- my mom and lucy slept in the car, and coleen made us dinner that...

did it.

i finally did it. i told orem i wasn't coming back. even though i don't have a replacement or anything, it feels like a huge relief. as sad as it is, it is so so so much work to get a new year started, and i feel like it's killing me already! i still have to do most of the really hard work for the year- payment plans, ordering uniforms, etc... etc... but it's good to know that come summertime i really can just be home with my kiddos. i don't know what it is- i'm sure pregnancy has played it's part, but i just feel so disorganized this year, and just not into it as much. i'm sure it's because i've really always known i would be leaving. but still. i'm sure it will be a very weird adjustment, but honestly i think the idea of not having to wake up at 6am everyday to be at practice for 3 hours will help! =) i just hope we can find someone so so awesome to take over the program! so... if you know anyone, send them my way- or really the way of orem...
so i just registered for the st. george marathon.... uhm. it's not looking so great being 8 months pregnant and registering for a marathon. what the heck was i thinking? well, at least the chances of me actually getting drawn in the lottery are slim, and that i'll get my $85 back. p.s. try outs went awesome! We took 17 on Varsity, and 10 on JV! if anyone is dying to know who made it- you can check their blog- oremcheer.blogspot.com

confessions of a giant prego woman.

so. can i start out by saying that I am happy and I sincerely feel ok, and know that i truly have the easiest pregnancies ever. that being said- i remember everything with lucy being so so easy and me feeling like i could fly all the time, so i need to document that this is not the case with baby #2. (miss clara mae as we call her for now) so as my journaling has failed, i will blog as to document the lovelies of the end of my pregnancy. exhibit a- i said this earlier, but sitting in a chair is like death. i feel as if someone is stabbing my upper back. it consumes my thoughts and no changing positions in the chair will make it stop. this is no fun while driving to and from kaysville, or watching cheer/dance competitions, sitting to watch the first day of cheer clinics today, etc... exhibit b- because of exhibit a, all i want to do is lay flat on my back with my feet up to get my back as flat as possible, this is a problem because i cannot breathe laying on my back. at all. i don...

we're back! i can't believe our trip is already OVER! it's really so crazy. I have been anticipating this trip- well really since I started coaching at Orem High 3 years ago, and it's so crazy to think it actually happened. the girls had so much fun, performed awesome, and had a great experience! we seriously had no problems the whole trip- and i can't believe things went as smoothly as they did.  Here are a few pics from this weekend- we flew into Orange County Thursday afternoon and had a team dinner that night at the Cheesecake Factory by our Hotel. Friday we had a practice in the morning, then spent most of the day at Disneyland and California Adventure playing! I was a little nervous to go to all these amusement parks not being able to go on all the 'really fun' rides- but it really was still so much fun, and I saw a lot of the fun shows and I think Brooke and I went on every 'boat ride' imaginable. Haha... seriously. Think about it... Almost...
