annual girls st. george trip

welp. didn't go into labor on my last trip before the baby comes!
success.
we headed down to st. george on thursday for candace's dance competition down there-
she is so amazingly talented. i'm so glad i still have an excuse to go to all these fun competitions and such. 
thursday we made the usual pit stop at- my mind just went blank at the name of the place- restaurant in payson, made it to st george to watch american idol- my mom and coleen are huge fans- and had dinner.

friday it was freezing and my poor mom was sick from taking an ambien the night before- silly mom. i tried to tell her not to do it! but we made it to 'brunch' at the bear paw cafe, and even though lucy pooped twice and scared off the table next to us- seriously, they asked to move because she was making so much noise- happy noise- screaming and talking- how rude huh? but anyway- it was still delicious and we spent the day shopping- my mom and lucy slept in the car, and coleen made us dinner that night at our condo. Yum.

saturday we were lazy, but eventually made it into tj maxx for like 3 hours- seriously. haha- and did a little shopping before candace's dance competition that night.
she did awesome, and it was so funny because my little brother Kyle was with us- he was down there looking for apartments for next year, and well he never goes to watch candace and he just kept saying the whole time- "I didn't know she was good?" and making just the funniest comments.

because we had such crappy weather the whole weekend coleen and i decided to stay a little later on sunday so we could get some sun in! i took lucy to the park and she kept saying, 'mimming- mimming' (swimming)- so we went to the pool, and she was in heaven. I have a little fish for a daughter. 
she had such a blast though, and we both have sun burns to prove it! so i'm so glad we stayed!



 

well- only 3 weeks left until this baby comes! 
it seriously is coming WAY too fast. 
i'm excited for our little baby girl to get here- but i'm pretty nervous all at the same time.
i mean really- who wants to give birth again?
not me!
i have been feeling really really good the last week or so, and am realizing just how awful I felt while I was in california with my cheerios. 
apparently your body isn't supposed to do that much when you are 8 months pregnant... haha
but i'm doing great now, and just waiting for the little one to make her appearance.
i have contractions every night, but nothing yet- so hopefully all goes well!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
