Blake's 1st Birthday!!

Our cute niece Blake turned 1 on September 16th! I seriously can't believe its already been a year since she was born! This past year has flown by! We had such a great time out to the farm! Tyler couldn't be there... school... but me and Lucy had a blast. She rode the horses, the tractor, the toy horse, and ate sand. It was awesome. She is going to be the cutest cowgirl!

We have had a long week! I was up in Kaysville Wednesday and today! Wednesday I was able to go to Lunch with cute Michelle and her little girl Isabelle! Can't wait for her to be a little bigger so her and Lucy can play!

And today, Tyler's cute mom, Bonnie, taught me and Amy how to can peaches! We might have enough peaches for the next 5 years, but they are delicious! I'm trying hard to be domestic... my next goal-- figure out how to sew. It might be a while... but Im going to attempt it someday!

Happy Fall! I love the cooler weather... football games... rain... jeans... sweatshirts.... being able to run any time of the day... la la la... Life is good. =)

    cute pics! We sew a lot with the Mom&Me group and I'm probably going to start a sewing group since there are enough women interested in learning. Let me know if you want to join!

    I need to learn to sew too! I have a sewing machine that has never left the box... I don't even know how to thread the dang needle!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
