Teething.

Today Lucy got her first tooth!

She has been extremely moody to say the least, and I seriously think has lost a couple pounds due to SNOT. She has just been leaking snot constantly, and if she sneezes. Well I wouldn't get to close to her! I was hoping she was teething, because I did not want her getting sick... (my couple cheerleaders getting swine flu made me nervous about her getting sick..) and thank goodness for the teeth! Because she has been so awnery she has like taken over our bed the last couple nights. She usually sleeps like a champ from like 10-7am, eats and back asleep until about 11am... the last couple nights not so much.

As Lucy is sprawled out in the middle of our bed last night Tyler turns to me and says, "I just realized something.". I then respond.... "What?". He then says, "Well just that you are my princess, and Lucy is my Queen.".

It is so true. I will readily admit that I am so spoiled... but I used to joke that I would be his queen now, but think again. Queen Lucy gets whatever she wants. Especially from her dad. And Especially at 2 o'clock in the morning!!

She is usually asleep by 10.... It's now 11:30, and I have given up singing her primary songs and she is now playing on her bedroom floor with toys, and I am sitting next to her blogging. At least she is happy right?

I just hope I don't turn off my alarm tomorrow morning at 6:15 for cheer. UGH. This is when I wish they had practice 4th period, instead of first!

    We are going through the exact same stuff, horrible sleeping, runny nose..I love reading your blog!! If our babies weren't so cute maybe we wouldnt have to spoil them! Oh well, I enjoy it! It only happens once right?!

    Carly you're a great mom! You make me want a little one around, even if they are teething! I miss our days in French...those days are long gone. You and your family are so sweet. Love you girl! Good luck with the teething! :)

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
