blogging fail.

i have really sucked at posting lately...
that's really all.
and taking pictures... i thought with my new camera, i would be snap happy. But all i seem to get is little lulu playing in her room! but anyway... for what has been going on!

friday night me & meg headed up to ogden to see heather and her new sweet baby girl Lily!
i forgot to pull out my camera until the end of the night when she was sound asleep, but she seriously is so darling! i love babies...

please excuse the fact that i look like death. i'm not even sure why i'm putting that picture up.... to document my belly i guess.

and the biggest change as of late...
Lucy got a big Girl bed!

I was seriously having huge doubts on how this whole bed thing was going to work out, but she LOVES her bed! She has slept in it the last 4 nights, and is currently taking her first nap in it! It helps that she thinks the bed is way cool, and does NOT want to go back into her crib. The last few days during nap time she kept getting out of her bed, so I eventually had to put her back in her crib, but she was NOT happy about it. And at night she still wakes up and wants one of us to come sleep by her for a minute, but overall she really is doing great. She falls asleep all by herself, and it's so cute to see her all curled up at the top of her bed on her pillow! Yay Lucy!

I can't believe she is 23 months old... 2 next month! She has really been trying to talk lately, and it's so fun to see her try so hard to communicate with us. Even though half the time I have no idea what she is saying... =) She is learning her colors, and does such a good job telling me what color everything is! She usually asks what color something is by saying, "Blue??" with this quizzical look... I love how she asks questions. She is very curious and loves singing!

Here she is playing on her bed with her crazy hair the other day... Her quilt is still being quilted, and I have no decorations up on that wall yet, but it's coming together!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
