goodbye 2010!

just a review of our fabulous year...

January: spent a fabulous weekend @ Zermatt in Midway... went skiing at the basin as usual... Lucy started swimming lessons... watched the bachelor... and ty started up school again

February: Lucy started walking, and turned 1! Tyler went skiing with me, and we loved love day!

March: enjoyed the warmer weather, and had another successful cheer try out!

April: enjoyed another general conference and easter, and i had a fabulous trip to st. george with the girls! tyler turned 25 and finished another semester of school!

May: We celebrated mothers day and 3 years of marriage in Viva Las Vegas!

June: the annual Lake Powell trip- the best 8 days of tyler's year... and cheryl and kyle got married!

July: spent long summer days at the Lindon Pool, had the best ever Kaysville 4th of July, Lucy went to her 1st Rodeo, cute nephew Carter was born, and a fabulous Bear Lake trip with the Crosland's!

August: Cheer Camp, Bear Lake with the Brock's! I turned 22, and we found out we're expecting baby #2!

September: School yet again... Football games, Swiss Days, and Lucy started Gymnastics

October: Nitro Circus, Gardner Village and Pumpkin Patches, and Lulu is a cat for Halloween

November: Time Out For Women Conference, Saw Harry Potter #7, and Thanksgiving with the Brock's

December: Cheer Competitions, Played with cousins, Tyler only has one more semester of school and is done working at APX, and loved Christmas! We found out baby #2 is a GIRL!

Looking forward to.... watching the Bachelor again... haha... Lucy turning 2, warmer weather, Tyler graduating and baby girl making her debut in May!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! Lucy's biggest fan! Lucy has bee doing SO great at soccer! Soccer camp from this summer really helped the girls a ton! She was so aggressive and even scored a few goals! Goooo Lucy! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Rex is a year and a half of craziness. He is so sweet, all over the place, and such a cute kid. He has his mama wrapped around his little chubby sticky finger! Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
