Clara- 2 wks.

hello. my name is clara and my mom has not done a fabulous job documenting the first few weeks of my life. way to go mom. can you believe this is the best picture she has of me lately? i'm asleep and have binky marks on my cheeks. come on mom. step it up!

Clara Mae is now 3 weeks old! To say the last 3 weeks have gone by fast is an understatement.... I feel like we haven't even gotten the chance to catch our breath! Holy crap!

Everything is going so so well, and we love our new apartment and being so close to family- but between having another baby, packing up, tyler working in ogden, tyler starting summer school, moving, un packing, adjusting to life with 2 kids, trying to hand over the cheer program to no coach, and having all of tyler's family in town- we have been going non stop, 24-7 and it's crazy! 

Clara has seriously been such a good baby thus far- and is so sweet and cute. Lucy is seriously the cutest big sister, and loves her baby sister- perhaps too much. She wakes up and searches the house looking for her- I hear all day, "where's c-ara?", and "mama, c-ara's crying". Poor girl- can't say her L's. =) 

But they have been so good together, and Clara has put up with a million kisses a day from little Lucy, and hugs that nearly smash her! 

Clara has been such a good little eater, and eats so fast! I love it. She really only eats like 5 minutes on each side, and I usually have to change her diaper in between just to get her to be awake enough to eat!

At her 2 week appointment last week here were her stats:

Weight: 8 lbs 8 oz- 63%

Length: 20 inches- 40%

Head Circumference- 14.5 in.- 92% 

(Note: So that means she has a huge head- it really is just long, cuz she still has this tiny little face! But Lucy's head was in the 1%- meaning smallest head ever. Funny? yes.)

Basically she is the sweetest thing ever, and we love her to death!

We are looking forward to life getting back to normal this week.... I might even make dinner!-- Maybe.
