the first few days...

well we have survived the first 5 days at home with our 2 girls!
a huge thanks to family for playing and taking care of little lucy most the time- but we are slowly getting adjusted. she has been playing up at both grandma's houses a couple days this week, but when she has been home she has just loved her 'baby'.


i think she will be the cutest big sister- even if lucy herself is a little spit-fire. =)
sometimes she is so much like her mom it's scary.... sorry ty.
hopefully clara will be our 'peacemaker'.

Clara has been such a good baby so far, and seriously sleeps ALL day long!
I have to basically torture her to get her to wake up and eat! and even then it's only for like 5 minutes that she'll actually eat... she does eat very well though, and that's a huge blessing that nursing has been so easy this time around.
at night she has been staying up pretty late, but then will just get up every 3 hours to eat, so it hasn't been too bad- Yet. =)

and just some of our cute little girl- at first i thought she looked nothing like Lucy, but I think she is starting to more and more each day.



here's Clara with her 2nd cousin Winter- they are only a couple months apart. Winnie is so dang cute!

Life is good as of now!
We're moving next Saturday- are we crazy?
Yes.
Hopefully the transition goes smoothly!
We're excited to be closer to family, and to Tyler's job!

    She is so cute! I can see a little bit of Lucy in her! I'm glad you have survived with 2 so far, I am scared! Where are you moving to? I saw Angies comment about Foxboro, we are building there!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
